  1. Of the people in the public eye...James Marshall Hendrix
  2. Pol Pot was the first bogey man I remember. I recall being sh*t scared as an eight year old going to bed at night in case he came to get me.
  3. She was one hell of a long-jumper though.
  4. Top Gear is very very tired. My sons still like it though.
  5. I think electric Ladyland is a great album stretched over two. If he'd released: Crosstown Traffic 1983...a Merman I Should Turn to Be Long Hot Summer Night Come On (part 1) Gypsy Eyes Burning of the Midnight Lamp House Burning Down All Along the Watchtower Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) It would have been much better.
  6. Tranmere semi final at Villa Park. And listening to the second replay at Old Trafford when Chris Nicholl scored.
  7. Honestly Levi, you have to be aware that here in the UK we get all of the doolally garbage that comes out of the NRA reported to us as though it's the opinion of every American. To the point that some of us are likely to believe your joke is your seriously held view. Just imagine living in a country with low gun ownership and low gun crime and looking at the news reports from this tradgedy, then reading the amount of paranoid shit we see coming from the gun lobby. It is what the facepalm thingy was invented for.
  8. Axis Bold as Love - Jimi Hendrix Experience Can't understand why the critics always go for Electric Ladyland, it's nowhere near as good as Axis (or Are You Experienced for that matter).
  9. This is my favourite thing on the whole galactic superhighway.
  10. Posting this everywhere as it's one of my Desert Island Discs:
  11. Haven't you been paying attention? They're not toads, they're lizards. Another baby living off benefits on the way then, bloody scroungers...humbug!
  12. All things you can put Mr. in front of!!!! Mr. T Mr. Cameron Mr. Coltrane Mr. Dylan Mr. Gift I don't know. :-/
  13. Complete tosh...but I'm not marking any coursework until next year just in case!
  14. I once went for a tour around a local health club to get a free pass thingy. Anyway, the woman took us to the beauty treatments area, she opened the door and there was Goldie (drum and bass DJ) having his nails done. There were about six of us just gawping at the bizarre scene, before his metal clad grimace signalled our hasty departure. Possibly the weirdest thing I have ever seen.
  15. Afraid I can't offer anything other than my best wishes to you and your wife.
  16. Cool Hand Luke on DVD last night with my sons. There is obviously an age between 10 and 15 where this film goes from "nothing's happening, I'm bored" to "this is a great film". I think it's to do with the car washing scene! Then watched Kill List on Film 4. Really not my sort of film, but pretty enjoyable. Thought I'd be more disconcerted by a film like that, but I found it entertaining.
  17. That's a beautiful one ^^^^^
  18. Bollox! Just spent ten minutes looking for this picture to post here...
