  1. Edit: **** it. We do not need to sell before we buy. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
  2. It's a little hard when people singing the same song over and over, yet when they are told they're singing out of tune they seem impervious to the truth. Some people are basically the fat lass at the karoke, who doesn't realise how rubbish they are at singing and eventually drives the punters up the wall.
  3. City West is as posh as my redneck neighbour. However, in comparison to the rest of Tallaght it's a bloody aristocratic haven.
  4. You should try reading what he said next time, maybe then you wont be so terribly wrong.
  5. Probably when they won the FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Cup in the same season in 2001, and when Heskey scored his fair share of goals.
  6. Carrick is played differently for United though, when he's allowed to sit back and dictate play he's one of the best in the league at doing so. But more often than not SAF has him and Fletcher as the water carriers, which he isn't at all. Part of his drop in form is to do with Ronaldo leaving, with Ronaldo teams had to double up on him and Rooney which left fucktonnes of space for Carrick to exploit, which he did briliantly. Now because teams press United more as there is less to worry about, so to speak, he hasn't the time to dictate play and is often found playing like Petrov and keeping it simple and boring. He's head and shoulders above Petrov, but never really gets a look in for England because he's a luxury midfielder.
  7. why though? there seems to be some misconception on these boards that he is shite in the transfer market, then those who claim go on and point out that he bought harewood and heskey etc. But we've improved every year, and he has replaced players successfully, there is nothing to suggest this trend wouldn't continue. He's just slow as ****, but he generally makes the right choice even if they are underwhelming at the time.
  8. lets be honest lads, if Milner goes for 4 million less than David Villa we can laugh our balls off all the way to the bank.
  9. Yes, **** over-rated gash robbed the far superior Thin Red Line at the Oscars. Probably because it flew a few american flags and seemed more patriotic, rather than the 'what is war' ramblings of the other movie.
  10. Soldado will be at Atletico Madrid if Aguero jumps ship, or if Valencia can find some dosh he'll replace Villa. No chance coming to us I'm afraid.
  11. I keep forgetting what day it is :? More and more often i'm finding that I have to reassure myself it's a thursday etc.
