  1. Always liked DD is a player and has impressed as a manager, IMO he would leave OM to manage in the Premier League but to us I am not so sure. However if he fancies a challenge??
  2. Personally I'm with you on this one, I see nothing on his CV that would make anyone sit up and take notice. Fulham is his level IMO
  3. To be fair, your relative Donald could have done a better job than GH this season Mr D.
  4. Just the same all crap that gets spouted every year at the Villa, just before we sell our best players. Bloody hell I hope the new manager bins all of GH's idiotic, outdated ideas and has some of his own that mean we don't spend 3/4's of the season fighting relegation!!! Why would anyone carry on with the shit we have witnessed this season I will never know? If Randy hadn't have spent big on Bent we would be mocking up shirts with Fizzy pop on the sleeves and Bert's PorkPie Shop as sponsors on the front.
  5. Being British = Guaranteed Good Manager = No Being French = Guaranteed Good Manager = No Being Brazillian = Guaranteed Good Manager = No Etc...Etc... I just want a better manager than GH, which isn't really that difficult IMO!!
  6. Blimey!!! Just calm down and step away from your handbag!!! Anyway the British are not a race in my books!
  7. Unless we get the 'right' replacement for GH I can see all 3 of DB, AY and SD wanting out come the summer!
  8. Oh let's make a decision on 2 or 3 games, anyway Capello will not leave the England post before the Euro's. For me after this season, anyone except GH and GMac, I am sick of passionless football management and silly tactics!!
  9. No thanks, he has more silly rules than GH has!! Don't really want to replace one old fool with another! Moyes all the way for me. He needs a new challenge and can work with our existing players and truly can spot a bargain (and before anyone says it, I know he can also buy some dead ducks, they all do).
  10. He's just living off the back off the oil money and his one and only decent season!!
  11. Who's to say that they won't offer two tickets to the GP of Randy's choice for the useless twunt???
  12. He is a one season wonder who is making a very good living because he happened to be at Mancs when the money was starting to be thrown at players. He is obviously a self destructive fruit loop who goes from one club to another slagging off the previous club. Personallly if I was the club I would have him committed and claim on the insurance. In reality however I think he will be off to a fizzy pop team where he will fail and disappear into the mire of obsecurity.
  13. That's 11 pm for me then down under, not too bad!!
  14. Just like we should have beaten Everton as they had far more important players out last week.. We were lucky to get a draw with the chances Everton had. I just find it impossible to be positive about this one, good job I am miles away and can't bring my negativity down to VP.
  15. Everton were far more weakened than that and we only got a draw and probably didn't deserve that on the number of sitters that Everton missed. Make no assumptions with the idiot we have in charge!!
  16. Never blamed them before but I think the Americans and their Ginger mate are to blame for dithering and persisting with someone who is so obviously not up for the job. Whatever went before and however the yellow bellied prick walked out and left us there has been a good enough sqaud to not be in this situation now. A bit OT but why did we buy Bent? Complete and utter waste of time in the circumstances as we are not really scoring many more goals as we don't provide the service.
  17. Well he is the best finisher in the world (apparently) :winkold:
  18. Moyes does seem to have this worrying trend of starting the season slowly? However any money he has had to spend has been generated by selling players and he does seem to manage that side of the team well. Would he come to us? well if you don't ask?
  19. General Sir can you please ring Sir Alex Ferguson and tell him that he has had no influence on any of the many trophies that Man Utd have won over the 20 odd years that he has been their manager. I think I can have a guess at the answer you will recieve. And do you think that defending the wholly incompetent record held by our manager in his time at our beloved club and blaming the players on the pitch is going to help our relegation battle? Or have you been spending too much time with Mr Houllier when he has taught you all he knows about how to disrespect the loyal fanbase.
  20. 40 million to spend 35 of that will go into Ashley's back pocket!!
  21. He does however seem to be a bit of a coward when it comes to 50:50 challenges. He seems scared of getting injured which will always make people question his comittment? He has however been our most consistant attacker this year.
  22. I have an 8 yo son who has quite a few replica kits from Villa to England and Real Madrid to Spain and Brazil and the best quality for wear and tear are the Adidas kits are by far the most superior for quality. I have noticed that the nike tend to go all snagged and bobbly. So Adidas gets my quote.
  23. Perth, Oz. Lovely place IMO. Land of opportunity again, everything's going to go balistic over here workwise for the next 10 years with the LNG plants that are going ahead. Hundreds of billions of $ to be spent and there already is a serious shortage of skilled staff. I hope to be able to retire on the next 10 years work here.
  24. I agree with Wiggy, in my experience people tend to live to their means and as your wages go up then you loosen the belt and spend a little more freely. Most people do this especially those with a wife and child where you are the only bread winner. I personally am very lucky as I live within 15 minutes of the Indian Ocean and white sand beaches, 10 minutes to a beautiful city, the locals speak English, drive on the same side of the road as the UK, year round sunshine, I drive a 4 litre petrol car and don't worry about fuel costs, have a 10 min bike ride to work... And I earn double the wages I can in the UK (where my wage is good)... Downsides, 40C is horribly hot, rents are very expensive (around 400 pounds a week), eating out cost a fortune when you can book a resturant and family is a long way away. But I still get down days and worry about money sometimes so money doesn't necessarily buy happiness but it helps with some of lifes day to day shit.
  25. He would fit in well up there with Barton et al, bunches of raving loonies!
