    Not that fussed really I would rather have Moyes and no toffees players than no Moyes and my pick of their best players. We desparately need a manager as the bad press we are getting will affect our future dealings, mud sticks especially the bullshit type!

    With all the talk of a manager being the right 'fit' and giving the club an identity etc from the board it doesn't really point towards Eck??? I think Randy wants to appoint a manager who pull the fans together behind a manager? He found out that Stwewie boy would rankell fans immediately. (Plus he has now found his level at Forest). Randy must know that Eck would cause more unrest on the Terraces than McLaren and who be PR suicide for the board. I know the General siad it's not a popularity contest but to employ someone with the record of 2 relegations and 1 Carling Cup is not really sound business sense.

    I know they have a very good relationship but the chances that Phil Neville is sitting by the pool with his family on a holiday and just happens to speak to Moyes an hour before an internet rumour emerges is 'quite unlikely'!! To be fair local journo's around shellsuit city are usually quite well informed. Remember Ron Toss knew about Eck before the nationals?

    For me McLaren is a Blues, Baggies, Wolves, Wigan level manager, ie a manager who you would think was doing well to get them to mid-table. He's not a top half manager and definately not a top 6 manager. I would also put Martinez and Coyle in this bracket. We need a manager who has acheived or has the real potential to acheive a top 4 finish, which imo leaves us with FSW, Moyes, Hughes (?) or Lotti. Moyes would be my vote as I think he can steady the ship without causing major disputes within the playing staff.

    Just looked at Sky Sports and in the online poll Ancelotti and FSW are neck and neck, bit diferent to on here?? though there are probably loads of wreathlayers on there?? Need an appointment soon IMO to get moving on targets etc!!

    To be fair if either of them left their teams they would plummet down the League. Unfortunately to succeed in the Premier League you need money! Quoting teams from lesser leagues is an irrelevence!

    No the french league is just shit, only one or two teams can win it and it just depends at the time! No the french had a good side 4 to 8 years ago, now they are all past it they are shit again as the last world cup showed!
