Very genuine question. I’m seeing 100 million spoke about frequently in here. Have the club come out and said that’s what we will be spending? I genuinely think we will spend more what with FFP more relaxed this season. It’s an opportunity to get up the ladder without being punished. If spent well of course.

Yes and that is why he was rejected/let go by United for whatever reason. What I am saying is just because a player from a ‘top club’ is let go doesn’t always mean they won’t do a fine job for Aston Villa. of course God was a legend. Only the best.

God was rejected/let go by a top team. There is no set rule in transfers.

We are Aston Villa fans and because of our poor track record in the transfer market in the last ten odd years. We’ve had a lot more misses than hits. So it’s understandable that you’d be nervous. Most of us are. However if Dean Smith wants us to go for him then I’d be happy to back him. He’s worked with him. Knowing him as a player and a person.
