wanted to wait another week for haaland as didn't want to take a -4 but i have exactly the right money to downgrade saliba to schar and then upgrade archer to haaland (who is due to rise again tonight), giving me a front 3 of haaland, watkins and solanke...which isn't bad at all

so haaland doesn't start in interesting news, there's been a bit of controversy over the last 24 hours or so where a few content creators brought in walker then benched him last sparking rumours that they got wind of a leak that he's benched and didn't pass the news on. lo and behold, he's on the bench.

this is a bad take and one that results in legit racial stereotypes not taken seriously duran's bad attitude has been reported in the press on more than one occasion not to mention us seeing with our own eyes the arm waving, yellow cards, and close calls for sending offs

because we've seen it from diaby a number of times already this season. and also because we've seen how emery can turn around the form of players. it wasn't long ago that the "like playing with 10 men" line was rolled out regularly when bailey was on the pitch so people have learned to cut players a bit of slack now

players dip in form. it wasn't long ago i was debating with my mates that if jack came back i wouldn't play him over JJ which sounds quite funny now based on his form there are a number of players out of form now, diaby being one of them, but he's getting the scapegoat treatment probably (rightly or wrongly) due to the money spent on him. if diaby was the free transfer and kamara was 50m then i suspect he would be getting the heavy criticism instead.

exactly. it's not just diaby, or just luiz or kamara, or JJ, moreno, tielemans, cash etc. it's the fact all of the above and even others have all had a downturn in form at the same time. some are recovering from injuries to be fair but if they're fit to play i struggle to see that as an excuse unless they've been out for months and months.

watkins captaincy not the worst in the end but how's your luck that the last kick of the game is his shot off target knocking down from 2 bonus to 1

can single certain players out all you like (and i'm sure people will) but every single player bar ollie, bailey and arguably mcginn wouldn't score above a 4/10 tonight

i'm predicting haaland doesn't start so not bringing him in. i accept the risk he could come on and get a goal or 2 KDB might not start but if he does then he doesn't play more than 60 mins IMO watkins will play 90 mins almost guaranteed but much less of a guarantee of points i've gone risky on captaincy with watkins...ultimately the game is supposed to be fun and it would make a double celebration if he scores tonight! other possible captaincy options for me are walker or porro but those are more risky and could easily be 2 pointers

i'm waiting another week for haaland. i'm concerned about his minutes and think enough people will do the same that it won't massively hurt rank if he bags a goal or 2

not seen that but yep, i said he was foolish. i maintain you're even more of a fool to get yourself a football ground ban and a criminal record just because some kid you don't even know who supports another football team has sat in the home section

mine still hasn't been put up for resale. contacted AVFC support on twitter who echoed the response received above @OutByEaster? can this be added to the next FCG meeting please? the club is turning down much needed revenue here. no one wants to sit in A2 hence why there's seats available but if you made resale seats available you'd have loads in holte upper etc available that no doubt would get snapped up. ok, they have to give season ticket holders 80% (i think) of the ticket sale but surely it's better to have bums on seats, spending money in the club shop, food, drinks etc?
