  1. I really haven’t the foggiest to be truthful with you - all I know is that I don’t particularly like Emi’s antics tbh with you - however many are not offended in the slightest and that’s also ok
  2. It’s not though is it? His antics were there for all to see - The World Cup final is watched by billions world wide, the world and his dog have their opinion on this matter. I also think these days commentators and pundits are much more forthright in their views and are prepared to tell it as it is. Imo
  3. I see both sides of this story - personally I’d prefer Emi to wind his neck in and focus on being the best that he can be - he will now become a target for wind up merchants on the pitch - hopefully he will rise above this
  4. I’m afraid the World Cup has just catapulted him to another level. I hope you are correct and I am totally wide of the mark
  5. I honestly believe he will leave - he wasn’t a World Cup winner back then. His agent will have plenty of offers to put to him imo
  6. Agreed our own Gary Shaw is one of the best inside forwards we have had
  7. I don’t make you wrong but Norwich we’re a premier league team when he took over as no doubt you are aware and also it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Dean does evolve into a great manager in the fullness of time ?
  8. Personally I would very much doubt a player with Emi’s standing would be confidence shot tbh with you - but there was an element of tongue in cheek also
  9. Can anyone help please? I remember going to molineux around 76/77/79 we needed a win to qualify for Europe but they beat us - can anyone recall this game and the Scoreline please ? thanks in advance hope this doesn’t break any rules?
  10. I hope he has an absolute nightmare tournament from a purely Villa selfish point of view. Imagine the clamour for his services if he does well?
  11. I don’t disagree with a word you say - although I would be happy if he has a very average World Cup.
  12. He probably has dipped slightly - however given just how good he was in his very first season it’s hardly surprising - how on earth could you keep that form up ??
  13. I was thinking more defence splitting passes in the way that Sid would set up Platty - I see this in Emi although Sid would use more lofted passes than Emi does, who seems to prefer grub hunters
  14. You have to ask - have we had anyone with this ability since Sid??
  15. I agree it was a dreadful ball - very little Dougie could have done in my view.
  16. Brilliantly put I too have made reservations about Ty but he brings us many attributes of this there can be no doubt and as you say not having that idiot undermine anymore has got to be a good thing
  17. Yes me too - I think Emery has tried to have a little look at as many options possible before the World Cup - I believe he will figure frequently in the second half of the season - and I am looking forward to this.
  18. Absolutely agree 100% he is our most gifted player - I would pay to watch him train, I can only imagine some of the audacious things he does with a ball at BMH.
  19. Exactly this - he is a player who can pull a rabbit out of the hat, even when he is not seeing much of the ball. He will be a star in the second half of the season
  20. You know what - Tyrone Mings is a good guy - it’s a shame there are not more people like him
  21. It looks to me as though Emery had tried to give as many players that he can to showcase what they can do in a very short space of time - I am fully expecting him to play a big role between now and the end of season
  22. He is better than Wilson and Mitrovic, but not Toney - not any more
  23. I’m afraid this is all part of the problem Emi has to out perform everyone in every game - otherwise he’s overrated, not good enough and so forth. Just give him a run of games under Unai and you’ll see we have a gem on our hands
