  1. Agreed, and in addition - it depends on how much and if the club is willing to pay another club compensation for taking their manager?
  2. I'm about to move to Lancashire... someone please tell me I won't be alone up there.
  3. I can see Larsson, Bowyer and Taylor staying in the Premier League; and all the rest going to Championship. Does anyone know who Larsson is going to? Wasn't there talk on here that he had already signed a pre-contract with a PL club in January?
  4. Oxford and Abingdon are Villa. EDIT: After reading the OP I realised this isn't at all important. Although I suppose you'd class Oxford as Middle Class, so maybe agree. Any Villa fans I've spoken to in Oxfordshire are originally from Birmingham though.
  5. A more interesting read: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/mattslater/2011/05/birmingham_city_set_for_the_bl.html Overly dramatic though isnt it? Im sure it wont happen like that as much as id like it too and i fully expect them to be back up next year. Interesting, it was posted 4 pages back Apologies tismyk. I try not to talk too much about SHA, because I get a rash

  7. Didnt we finish 2nd with him at the helm? And we won the League Cup. So ... you didn't moan whatsoever at his 'lack of ambition' or how tight he was with money? If so.. I think you were the only one. No no you're right let's get him back, not spend any money, and we'll be 2nd again. Thanks! Where he say that? He never said anything like that but his reply has seeming made you type pretty incoherent stuff My question was in terms of all these people moaning that the board have no ambition. Thus was relative to that discussion, WR replied to my message, thus why I responded to him. WR's post seemed to imply that we were better off with Doug. Post=coherent. 2+2=5 Please try and argue that your post did not imply that we were better off with Doug?

  10. That's a fantastic picture! Maybe we should quickly get one done of our lads before they take over the Premiership Delph, Clark, Johnson, Albrighton, Gardner, and lil-Barry.
  11. Well Melberg going was different and Downing hasn't left yet ! But yeh its not quite what i thought that summer day back in 2006.... Yeah... Mellberg was bigger than the club All Hail Mellberg.
  12. I know I should be angry like some of you... But I don't blame him, and I don't really see what he's doing wrong... Right now, we're in an odd place, many have feared the continual reign of GH will result in the end of the world. We're possibly about to loss our manager, the defence is ruining our games in which Downing has been sensational. It must be very frustrating. He has 2 years on his contract, relatively that's quite a lot in footballing terms. When stability returns to the club, stability will return with the players. We're frustrated with what's happening and we're the fans... imagine being employed by this unstable environment. Keep the faith...
  13. I heard on the radio earlier that Benitez was going to become the Turkey boss when Guus Hiddink leaves them to go to Chelsea.
  14. All the best Jean, hope the family is okay.
  15. Man City could've got De Jong for free at the end of the season (he was in the last year of his contract) but instead chose to buy him for £18m in the January transfer window. Shows how stupid they are really... Fixed
  16. Isn't this thread about talking about Darren Bent, all things included? The fact that people keep bringing it up, surely means that people want to talk about it, else everyone would ignore their comments.
  17. I'll definitely miss the games with them - there is nothing like them. Always something to look forward to.
  18. That's actually how it works in Spain and it's legal (though frowned upon). You can't pay someone to lose (obviously), but you can incentivise a rival's opponent to win. SERIOUSLY?
  19. Spurs.. if you beat them, we'll give you 5m (cough we want Krancjar as well cough)
  20. I hope Gabby and Albrighton get a run out on Sunday. I've got a feeling Albrighton will come on for Young on about 80th minute, so Young "can get a standing ovation" as a goodbye from the fans.
  21. Ah I do remember those horrible days when we signed a foreign striker and hoped he was the next Angel etc. It's such an odd feeling having a striker that has the ability to score 20+ goals, and without 'bigger clubs' wanting to steal him. Let's face it, everyone above where we should be (6th/7th), won't come in for him.
  22. who's charisma Agbonlahor?? :S Charisma is Gabby's twin. Gabby got the football skills. Charisma got the... *is this a really pathetic joke?... yes* SUBMIT.
  23. Good Day General, Just wondering if we are close to securing a shirt sponsor for next season? Thanks.
