    We left just after final whistle and being in lower North Stand it's super quick to get out. Was pleasantly surprised to reach Witton and get straight on the platform for the first train! I think there have been discussions about a 30m overhaul of Witton as part of Villa Park expansion. Have no idea if anything firmed up though!

    I believe based on recent experience that from New Street, Aston has more frequent trains but we have used both stations and really there isn't much in it unless pre match pubs are a consideration. I would say Aston is a 15-20 minute walk and Witton only 10 minutes if that. You'll want to get to Villa Park 1 hour before kick off ideally and then you'll avoid packed carriages! Getting back to New Street, if you get out of Villa Park quickly you can beat the worst of the queues for the train at Witton. If there is a massive queue expect to be waiting for around an hour. Last night for Man City was our most hassle free game travel wise. Probably because of the 8.15 ko.

    They could not handle SJM at all. Pressing, passing, harassing, tackling and hold up play. I said about Ollie being the complete forward player and the same can be said of John in midfield. Absolute Boss Man.

    Leon was unplayable tonight. His footwork in the buildup to the goal was incredible. Confidence through the roof!

    Zaniolo cannot start thats for sure as hes struggling with the pace of the Premier league and needs more time to adjust his game. I think Tielemans will start as we need someone to get hold of the ball and play it intelligently. Start with Diaby and bring Bailey on when needed.

    He's a complete forward player. Obviously he has quiet spells when starved of service but that goes to show that he's holding his position unlike previous seasons when he was dropping back and doing the midfielders work too. He's now in the right place when we need him.

    If we constantly give the ball away we're gonna struggle. Need to tighten up and counter attack. I have hope and confidence of course but fully prepped for a loss too.

    Picking up points when not playing particularly well is a very good sign. Getting sloppy in midfield which I hope Unai will sort.
