He's absolutely a PL quality player but he doesn't accept or turn down offers the Fulham board do, and they would be mad to accept any bid in January when they are on track to return to the PL. Could be different in the summer if they don't come up though.

I'm 30 minutes into the Chelsea West Ham game, Snodgrass getting kicked to bits, James is a handful for Chelsea, Haller (who I rate) worse than Wes, Tomori very poor. Creswell looks the best player on the park. I fancy us for a point. However! on 63 minutes they bring on Kante and Willian! Mean while we can bring on Lansbury and A N other!

This is where I think we differ in opinion, I work in an industry where I deal in root cause analysis so you think "We conceded the goal because we didn't defend the corner properly." I think "lets not concede the corner that leads to the goal. " I also agree Mings wasn't the only person that affected that passage of play, but a single action by him (hoof it!) could have made this conversation never happen.

My 15 yr old jack russell has more pace than Jota, wide players need pace Jota runs like a slug, he is not a PL player Trez for all his faults can hold his own in the PL, not saying he's a sensation but miles ahead of Jota as a winger. I think Jota would be better as a CM.

Really? Why do you feel this need to deny what has happened and defend him so resolutely? Do you not think think they have a team debrief and DS says mate you ****** up there just get rid! He had no options available and tried to be a little clever got caught out and conceded the corner that resulted in a goal, he should be thinking one nil up getting near half time, nothing on here and hoof it past the halfway line! No corner = no goal simple as that.

That's why I said a big fat no at that price Have to disagree we need to improve the squad not the starting 11 short term, the starting 11 is good enough to keep us in this league, it's when we get 2-3 injuries we will come unstuck that's where having strength in depth helps.

Take a look around our squad not many have until this season, so he's 25 and if the fee is as low as 4-5m it's not going to affect the clubs value long term if it doesn't workout.

We have to be realistic, he's a decent young player with potential that fit's in with what the management are trying to do. But he a championship player at a mid table team and his contract expires next summer (unless Millwall have some sort of option) IF we are actually interested in him and it's not just paper talk they should be testing the water with a £4-5m bid.

We do need a winger though as Jack needs to come back into midfield at some point, Benrahma is the obvious choice but not sure it's going to happen in January. As you say a striker is a priority right now Wes needs the competition. I know there are lots of rumors about not much money being spent in Jan, but if we don't bring in a striker even it's just a loan I will be really disappointed as it will show lack of ambition and wanting to push on.

I don't think we should let Davis go he is young and has good potential he's the sort of player we should be trying to develop, happy to see him loaned out again but to do that we need to bring in 2 strikers If we get rid of Kodj and Hogan.
