Is there a reason for having two keepers on the bench? Would we not be better of putting a kid on the bench? Even if they don’t get minutes I’m sure they would be delighted to be on the bench.

McGinn has been really good since Emery has come in. That position off the right really suits him. We’ve been trying to find a position that gets him further up the pitch and this is working well.

Did anyone else notice that on MOTD when talking about how good McGinn and Ramsey were they put up a picture of Aaron Ramsey not Jacob! A bit of research wouldn’t go astray!

When Bailey is bad he really is terrible. We’d surely be better off with Buendia or Couthino instead of him.

I think this will be an interesting game. Dyche will set up to defend and attack off set pieces. We’ve looked particularly weak defending set pieces over the last few weeks. I think the line up will show how we want to play. I don’t know if two No 10s will work against a Dyche low block that will sit deep and limit space. Where we may get joy is down the sides with overlapping full backs so Cash and Digne might be the right picks even though I prefer Moreno. Emi, Mings, Konsa, Bouba, Luiz, McGinn and Watkins are all guaranteed starters. Bunendia is probably going to start too so the only decision is Couthino or Bailey. Looking forward to another all action Big Jhon appearance too!

Saka v Cash is going to be an interesting match up! We need Buendia and Couthino to get in between Jorginho and the back four and cause some trouble. Saliba will dominate Watkins in the air so I don’t want to see too many crosses.

When we take Bailey off and bring on Duran could there be a bigger difference in attitude and application. I think his enthusiasm should be rewarded with a start against Arsenal!
