For me this had parallels with the nil nil game at home to Wigan under Martin O'Neill all those years ago, where at the end, after doing everything but score, the crowd booed at the final whistle and MON staggered on to the pitch in disbelief at the reaction. I honestly think MON fell out of love with the club somewhat that day. I wonder if the Villa faithful have changed/matured enough over the years to appreciate a good display, clean sheet, point, where it simply wasn't our day at the business end of the pitch? Not judging by the pathetic comments throughout the Match Thread.

It doesn't make any sense to me why you would contact someone or @ them to criticise them. Opinions on social media are not a reasonable reflection on society's opinion in general. Surely we know and understand this by now, enough to draw a line, and say, it doesn't matter. People behave badly this way. Even on this forum we can understand that it isn't really a true reflection of all opinion on Villa. Most people can't be bothered to add their opinion on any kind of forum. I can barely be bothered to write this.
