  1. I laughed at this way more than i should have. Lockdown has got me bad
  2. For some reason he always reminded me of Jack lol
  3. I’m not sure mate, I haven’t looked tbh
  4. Gregg Evans tweeted it about a week ago and it was in all the papers mate that we had triggered the option to extend his contract for 12 months
  5. He would have cost a lot mate but that’s football nowadays. I must admit I got carried away by the Rashica links but I look back now and think why would a player that good want to come here
  6. I hear all the same stuff from other fans mate and then the same people want players like Bowen (who I also think is quality) but he also offer very little defensively. El ghazi does need to add that consistency though and I would want to upgrade in that position and let the 2 compete yes mate it was confirmed last week that we had triggered the option
  7. Personally i I think that el ghazi is lacking confidence due to missing a few sitters and needs to find consistency in his form, maybe some real competition would do that for him. Wes and Davis are not yet the finished article. Wes needs to use his frame more (like against Burnley) but we also need to get closer to him as a team. Davis is an absolute powerhouse who can hold off defenders without trying, but he needs to add goals to his game. Trez for me hasn’t worked out yet, I’m not too sure on him. He shows glimpses but then has an absolute stinker. I think we need more from our wide areas. Yes mate. The club triggered the option of a 12 month extension in Davis contract
  8. I think you are absolutely spot on regarding the DM mate. I do however think we also need more creativity in the team as our game plan is get the ball to Jack as quick as possible, we need more creative outlets too imo. With a new DM, add another new creative player plus Jack, Samatta and Mcginn back would give us a real shot of being a mid table team
  9. It’s each to their own mate. Both are similar so you would expect some people to favour one over the other. I just think there is more to TLK than vikings imo
  10. It’s much better than vikings. Vikings was brilliant and then there was the massive turning point (I’m sure you know what I’m on about) it went really down hill. Tried to word that to not give spoilers about vikings lol
  11. Tbf the Witcher is a bit confusing with the timelines, it’s really good though. How could you not get into power? It’s one of the best series on that list. The last kingdom has been probably my favourite that I have watched recently. It’s similar to vikings but it’s actually good
  12. Some decent series for you during lockdown. Power, game of thrones, sons of anarchy, banshee, the last kingdom, queen of the south, Ray Donovan, supernatural, the Witcher, sleepy hollow, frontier, Spartacus, the blacklist, breaking bad, ozark and obviously the tiger king
  13. He is better imo mate. Only thing that Reina is better at is distribution, which tbf was only good for his first 2 games
  14. I agree with not replacing Whelan mate. He done a cracking job last season and if we could have got a younger version of him our midfield would vastly improve. Nakamba has been to hot and cold for me, started the season well and then went missing and luiz is not really the type of player you want in a relegation scrap. You are right about the fullbacks, at time they leave us completely exposed at the back as they are often up the field. If we had samatta at the start of the season he would be in double figures now. I do think though we miss a bit of cutting edge. El Ghazi has missed about 3-4 sitters and is hot and cold, trez just puts his head down and runs. Our only real creativity has come from grealish and Mcginn. As you picked up we didn’t replace Whelan, our midfield often gets bypassed completely by opposition teams. I think we need a dm and either 2 wingers (and move jack back to number 10) or a dm, 1 winger and a number 10.
  15. Does that mean we add players like Nakamba to that list, or is that ok because he managed to force a move? They are not the first players to try and force a move and won’t be the last. I will be honest I would take either of them as long as they wanted to come and play for us and put a shift in. Both would massively improve our lineup.
  16. I read somewhere that he turned us down as he wanted to stay in London. He would have been great playing alongside Mings and Konsa would have learnt a lot from him
  17. I have seen him a few times this season and last and would love him to come here. I think you are right about the movement, but we could do with at least 3 in
  18. Fraser would be difficult, but he is the type we should be aiming for. I think the other 2 would love to come here, both would be a massive step for them
  19. The perfect window for me would be if we could get in Billing and Fraser (free) from Bournemouth get benrahma in and then get 1 or 2 young prospects (1 of which would definitely need to be a fullback). Billing gives a DM that is mobile, can intercept and stick a foot in, he would really help out our defence and midfield. Fraser is quality and the type of player that we need to step up a level. Benrahma is better than trez and el ghazi imo and with him and Fraser on the wings we could have grealish central in a 10 role with Mcginn and billing behind him. Then hopefully the 1 or 2 prospects will be adequate (improved) cover and ready to step up to the first team in a season or 2. Obviously this is all on the basis of us staying up.
  20. I really like Axel but would hope we go for a cut price deal or another loan with option to buy. I would hope we wouldn’t pay over the odds with his injury’s this season (and tbf the season before when he was on loan with us)
  21. I think we need the right balance of signings this year if we stay up. We need to be looking at a couple of players with PL experience, the best players in the championship and quality/high potential signings from abroad. All in all I would say we need at least 3 or 4 upgrades on the starting 11 to really push on
  22. Admittedly it is unlikely that he would come here but if we stay up, we have the backing to make the step up and push on as a club. It would be a hard sell but it’s not impossible to lure that calibre of player and to be honest we need that quality of player to progress
  23. Agree with the positions mate. I would like to see us go for Ryan Fraser (Free), benrahma and a player like Biling or Doucoure. i wouldn’t be against us going for axel, Lallana and a fullback as well
  24. Agreed mate. The lack of work rate has been the biggest concern over the last 3 games.
  25. I wouldn’t sell Mcginn, especially in Jan. I would look to get another creative cm in to play alongside him, maybe Eze from QPR? Tbh I would also like us to go for Bowen and Morelos. I think if we could get them 3 it would completely transform the team and give us creativity (which atm is only coming from Jack) and goals.
