Suppose that’s fair but he was throwing his arms at him and visibly angered in the last game… even though he scored Was a game when McGinn went over to the bench to complain that he wasn’t listening or not pressing… I dunno… would obviously prefer him to stay as long as he can focus and be happy. But this has been dragging on for a while and it’s an annoying little distraction from all the positivity and progress… I would have a problem with any of our valued players wanting to leave right now… would be mad to really. - Pretty sure Cash will be replaced, he’s not up to it really… happy to keep him in the squad but it’d be difficult to reject a decent offer for him which would only further help our cause… got to boost our finances where we can and strengthen the team and squad. No one can fault his effort and dedication at least.

Enquiries were made and offers rejected in January too… West Ham was one of the clubs… Who knows how long Chelsea have been after him? Could actually seeing him playing instead of Jackson… they seem to want to put together a young side that will develop together… Rather it didn’t happen but, if he’s not happy, he has to go and we have to get all the money we possibly can for him. In that case, get a good deal for him and keep the likes of Luiz, Ramsey and all the others that have been suggested as part of a sale we need to make… become even stronger and buy players who want to be here and a part of our future and success.

We’ve seen John and Unai shouting and screaming at him at times, apparently not focussing on instructions or doing as he’s told… Was hoping all that stuff could be ironed out but if he’s not happy and wants out… there’s little option but to move him on and get the best possible deal out of it.

Dunno why McGinn was so vocal about him in more than one interview after the last game… the “nightmare” line is not at all flattering. Is he difficult to control and manage? Again, it’s a shame and I would like him to stick around so long as he is focussed and dedicated.

Yep… he wants his players thinking about and focused on football as much as possible… He’s said it in interviews too. McGinn gave a bit of insight, think he asked Unai about a day off and the response was something like “aren’t you thinking about the next match?” or along those lines. Unai’s authority cannot be questioned or challenged, accept his ways and learn or get out.

Why just Chelsea though? He’s making it fairly obvious… That hug with Poch was concerning too… I think he’s been tapped up and it’s kind of their thing isn’t it?

I’ve lost patience with it now… has been “noise” for a while and he should really just get his head down, work hard and be patient. Should show the club more respect and be grateful for the opportunity we’ve given him… I like the kid too but the last things we need is any disruptive presence… the togetherness and harmony in the squad, for the most part, is wonderful and lovely to see… got to be cherished and protected. It’s annoying cos we are flying and everyone should be on board…

Difficult to get an accurate figure but looks like either 18m euros or pounds… and 4m in add ons. If he’s off, we should get the best possible deal and ensure we are profiting off his time and any success… various clauses and add ons, sell on percentage too… Players seem to get tapped up quite regularly without any punishment or repercussions these days… but some young lads are impatient and quickly want the glory and big bucks too… how has that worked out for Carney so far? Bloody Chelsea…

Oh well… if we needed a big sale to help with FFP or squad strengthening… looks like this is the one… we can try n get a big fee or lucrative deal… Preferable to losing any of our more important and loyal players… Cannot go cheaply…

Silly boy

He has liked multiple posts from Chelsea or to do with them… there was that embrace with Poch before our game… he keeps messing about with his socials, removing and restoring Villa content. McGinn came out and called him a “nightmare” and someone who needs managing or have his feet kept on the ground… I find it a shame, liked him and was excited about his potential.

He’s off isn’t he? An obvious obsession with or fan of Chelsea…unless he’s been tapped up… A shame… would like him to stick around, develop and improve under the best manager around… be patient and take his time with us… but there has been enough “noise” for a while to suggest that he either isn’t happy/settled and wants out. A lot of promise there… but if he wants out, we should get the maximum amount with plenty of clauses and sell ons etc.… rip Chelsea off… if they want him so bad. Disappointed in him really…we gave him his big break and he should show more respect and appreciation to the club. Too young to be a regular starter but it seems like he won’t be happy unless that’s what he gets.
