Just had a search online, Ferran has played plenty so doubt he’d be available. Think it’s best not to deal with em or help em out, might charge rip off prices. Alonso is old and crap, Raphina isn’t all that and too expensive and wouldn't want to leave. Much better alternatives. Kounde has been linked but plays regularly… a no go I would think. There are better places to shop and plenty of talent out there… unless we can pick up or steal a few young starlets off them for low cost.

Any idea which Barca players have not played much, been on the bench or out of squads more than they would have anticipated? Doubt we would be able to attract starters but there may be some we can reignite… as long as they’re good

Going for high quality players on expiring contracts is a great strategy and should save us some money, on transfer fees at least. Wonder if there are any frees a la Kamara and Tielemans (Hermoso sounds likely) we could add too.. Makes a lot of sense since we need to boost our squad, more options and more quality. Also, players who are not getting the desired game time elsewhere or want to get their careers back on track… Unai is the man for you!

Any decent links or suggestions to taller & more physical yet talented and skilful players such as the guys we brought in - Rogers and Zaniolo, that could enhance us and make us stronger in that sense? Both have made an impact and Morgan is looking great… it helps us stand up to and be more resilient against perceived to be superior sides and the more physical or aggressive ones… winning more duels and battles and becoming more press resistant… I think we have enough diminutive and skilful players personally but obviously not averse to bringing in more of Unai’s choosing… I just wonder if he decides to boost the more physical and powerful aspect of the side… but every player has to be technically proficient and comfortable on the ball, good passing range and able to move with energy and purpose… not slow and clumsy or limited.

Weird comment… far too aggressive or emotional. Much like you, I’ve been supportive of him and like the kid. First time I’ve showed any real concern or been critical of him… I mean, he doesn’t seem too bright or appears to lack common sense at the very least… not a intelligent or good look. Hope (somehow) this is nothing and I am wrong, delighted if he’s committed and sees his future here… but ignoring everything is kind of being in denial isn’t it? Not the first time… Bedwetters if he thinks that’s me, he hasn’t been paying attention! UTV!

They haven’t created any “noise” and are fully invested and contributing, not being disruptive in any way… Duran has caused much of the noise himself… Anyway, I’ve covered my thoughts… I’d rather he stayed and dedicated himself to the club… but it doesn’t seem like that’s what he wants.

Said exactly that… quite surprising. At the time I thought… come on John, no need to speak on the lad so much and negatively… but, it suggests there are difficulties with him. “He can be a nightmare”, was pretty strong too…

Said exactly that in an interview after the Liverpool game, stood next to Tielemans. He did a few and commented on Duran in each one… not exactly positive. I would prefer to side with you and see this as “much ado about nothing” and see him stick around… but, things haven’t been quite right for a while with him… he seems impatient, wants to be the main man… I had a fondness for him and see a lot of talent and potential… but, we can’t and shouldn’t be carrying anyone who isn’t invested and isn’t willing to be part of the team and “project”… I just find it sad and disappointing. Everyone, that is valued and has some importance, at the club should be fully on board and looking toward the future with positivity and optimism. Especially right now and with what we have achieved.

Could be a bargain and boost our midfield options… top level experience, decent age, quality in possession… good at penalties too. One thing we learned from this season is that we need more options and depth… of genuine quality and worth…
