He is allowed to be criticised. I've repeatedly said his obsession with playing wingers, when our wingers are poor is a problem. I cant blame him for having to choose any one on the bench to improve the starting 11

No it's not. A vocal minority ste continually doing the exact opposite. We win, it's the players, when we lose its Smith. How many of our mid and forward get into a top 10 team?

Elmo, taylor davis - out 2 New wingers, so Jack can play no 10 1 centre mid. These 3 have to be quality. I've love a winger who can a)cross, or b) dribble past players. Or if we buy quality both. If we had jack last night we win 3 0.

I wouldnt disagree, but some of the players are championship, or bottom third premier league. Elmo McGinn Barkeley Trez El Ghazi None of them bad, but squad players at best.

We are not signing benteke. He doesnt fit in to any number of criteria, age, wages, sell on, pace etc.

I dont see what people see in him tbh. Neat tidy player but is often watching instead of anticipating. He will do for now but he'll have to improve (which he may well do) if we are to make the step up.

It's the same all over. Do you remember the thousands of players we signed looking for a goal scoring midfielder to replace Platt? curcic Delph Draper etc. I think there may have been a problem with our recruitment
