  1. Pleased Hogg isn't in the team. I still think Dunne, Ireland and Carew should be on the bench. You can't convince me Hogg, Clark and Herd offer more!
  2. I've found an extract from Houllier's post match press conference that he's already prepared: "My players heads went down when City scored the first goal" "I was not pleased with the result but I can't fault the effort" FFS! If I see Hogg in that starting line up (probably against De Jong, Barry and Toure!!!!!) then I'm going to vomit!
  3. Official site just confirmed allocation is 1500
  4. Collins should have Tevez in his back pocket! In all seriousness 3-0 to City. If I see Hogg in the team again I'm going to cry!
  5. Delph was mediorce today but I think, given his time out, we can let him off. Might have been kinder for Houllier to play him with someone other than Hogg! Then again Houllier seems to be keen on these tactical blunders.
  6. It will be like us that Houllier will play Hogg and Clark in midfield in the next match and we'll lose!
  7. Milner is not the reason why the 4th best defence in the country has turned into the 5th worse one! (this is 5th worse before away matches at Man City and Chelsea).
  8. This season we have the 6th worst attack and the 5th worst defence in the premier league! Last season we had the 8th best attack and the 4th best defence in the premier league! Draw your own conclusions as to what has changed from last season!!!!!
  9. Number of points gained from a losing position for Aston Villa this season: 0 ZERO FFS! That tells me very little team spirit! We're going to get torn to shreds in our next two matches! Collins vs Tevez!!!
  10. Tottenham's 2nd goal was down to bad marking. If you look at a replay we had more players back but just ball watching rather than staying close to the few Spurs players forward. Shocking. Houllier out now please!
  11. Further proof to me that Houllier has to go! He can take G Mac with him as well. One look at the starting line up and it was clear Hogg should never have started. Curtis Davies, Stephen Ireland, Richard Dunne, John Carew - all decent players that, partly due to our manager's inability, aren't performing at their highest level or aren't even being considered! I really don't know know what the Board are waiting for. The majority of fans do not want Houllier in charge. You can tell that from the atmosphere this season. The belief has gone. As for player ratings: Friedel 6/10 One good save from Defoe Lichaj 7.5/10 Did well to keep Bale quiet Collins 5/10 Donkey Cuellar 6/10 Few dodgy moments Warnock 5/10 The missing man Hogg 2/10 Shouldn't be starting for us in the premier league Delph 5/10 His failure to close down VDV led to the 2nd goal. Good to see him back though! Downing 5/10 Poor - has to get involved more Albrighton 6/10 Scored - not as good as normal though Heksey 4/10 Wimp. Again off injured! Gabby 5/10 Has to do more, has to move more. Overall, not good enough against 10 men, Houllier should be sacked and we're going to lose our next 2 matches. Happy New Year :winkold:
  12. Amazing how Tottenham haven't kept a clean sheet in the league for over 4 months and yet we can't score against them! Shocking. Get Reo Coker on at least for some leadership!
  13. Houllier is clueless! Hogg/Delph vs Modric/Palacios No wonder Liverpool sacked him!
  14. Hopeless performance from Villa Get Reo Coker on for Hogg FFS. Houllier clueless.
  15. No Carew on the bench. Hopefully that means a new striker in Janaury!
  16. Without NRC and Ashley Young in the starting line up! Suddenly not so confident! :winkold:
  17. Reo Coker should start in place of Hogg. Shocking decision. Good to see Delph back though.
  18. Would love to see us beat a Harry Redknapp team - it's been a while!
  19. http://www.lonelyreviewer.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/planet.jpg He's fluent in "Ape" apparently :winkold:
  20. Only four of those were at home and we've come away unbeaten in our last 2 of those. We've also only lost 1 of our last 4 boxing day games! Also, of those 9 fixtures 5 of them were against the "big four"
  21. Tottenham haven't had a clean sheet in the league since the first match of the season so logic would say we have a fair chance to score. The problem will be keeping them out at the other end! We know if we go behind we're in big trouble! Sounds like 0-0 then!
  22. Tottenham have won 2 times vs Villa at our ground in 23 years! Have some confidence!
