  1. So Bruce has signed (according to some) a 5 year contract? So she's ugly, but loaded?..... .... I'd deffo hit it, and even let her buy me breakfast the next morning.
  2. I don't know mate, the uglier they are the harder they try! I'd hit it, I'm not picky!
  3. Great analogy! Utter tripe, but great nonetheless.
  4. In all honesty, after the last 5 years, Adolf Hitler could be appointed with Ted Bundy and Fred West as his assistants, as long as he brings a modicum of balance and success (and hasn't been inside Katie Price!) to the squad I don't care where he's been (as long as it's not inside Katie Price!). Welcome to the asylum Steve...
  5. Well every time he crosses the ball he gets stitch...... (Cross stitch knitting reference, I'll get me coat)
  6. I'd like either Wagner or Chris Hughton. We'll more than likely get Bruce or Sherwood. Sidenote: Which 'top tier' coaches are working in China currently? Wouldn't be out of the question for the doctor to source from there.
  7. Just popped on the Huddersfield forums for a gander at their thoughts and they are pretty much split 50/50 on whether Wanger should/could/would come here but on the whole they're nervous about the speculation and accept that Villa would be a step up the management ladder regardless of league positions.
  8. Got all 3 to 385 quite easily without touching the raid @V01, ran it last night with a few mid 360s friends with all monitors in about 1 1/2 hours. Just started the Thorn and raid pulse quest lines so that'll keep me busy for a day or two! Add me if you need a lift finishing the raid bro, I've got a few pals who'll happily help out.
  9. I wish the board would stop dicking around and get him already.
  10. "The Wangerbus is coming and everybody's jumping New York to San Francisco an intercity disco"
  11. I've actually got to the point where I don't care how Villa are doing, kill me now.
  12. I think Hepburn-Murphy isn't too far off a starting berth, he looked sharp when he came on against Newcastle. Andre seems to have dropped down the pecking order after a decent pre-season though. Agreed about the last five years or so though, can't think off the top of my head of anyone who has broken into the squad let alone the first team in that time. Feel free to put me right though!
  13. I agree with a lot of points made by you but calling the owner a coward for not travelling 8,000 miles every weekend and Tuesday a little odd @Richard I'm of the opinion that he (RDM) will get it right (eventually) and should be given the season at least to do so, obviously if we go on a 10 game losing streak, and knowing us, that could well happen, then get rid. My only real concern is if we get anywhere near the top 6 these games we are dropping points in (10 in the last 5 minutes of 5 games!) will come back to bite us and RDM on the arse.
  14. All of this^^ right here. Nice lad and good pro but utter utter dog shit of a footballer.
  15. I do fella, I've been to all but the Ipswich and Luton games (thankfully!) and bar the first half against Newcastle we have made teams look exactly what they, on the whole, in this league are, utter shite. There seems to be this massive cloud of bad luck hovering around the place and it has to clear at some point, basic laws of physics/karma say so!
  16. Dean Smith or maybe Chris Hughton but I can't see RDM being sacked already, it's not like last season where we're getting turned over every week (at least that rot has stopped), I get the feeling that someone is going to get a right shoeing off us soon and it'll be the turning point in our fortunes.
  17. He needs to sack his mates off, simple as that really. My personal opinion on his (any Villa player actually) situation is, if it doesn't affect his performance then I couldn't care less if he snorted gunpowder off a Yaks knackers in his own time, doesn't affect my life or anyone else with a holier than thou attitude in any way, shape or form.
  18. This is the crux of the matter I think, he seems a "nice lad" and a "good pro" which is all well and good if you're after a baby sitter, we lack (and have for some time) a, dare I say it, Robbie Savage/Joey Barton type to just wind players up and take a few names on either side. Our midfield has been nice for too long and Ashley has been the nicest of them all.
  19. This. Got box tickets for this off my guy on the inside at Fiat, so win, lose or draw I'm getting hammered for free!
  20. "Westwood" and "Bacuna", wasn't at the game, didn't keep an eye on what was happening.... Not surprised.
  21. I get the feeling that an awful lot (sadly) of people just don't like his face then? And if he bangs a hat-trick in against Brentford tomorrow it'll be his lack of celebrating/morose(ness?) that'll be picked up on. Second half on Sunday he was utterly unplayable and was the difference between a loss and the actual result (that cross bar is still shaking now ffs!), he'll never be the darling of the Holte I fear but jees, he is absolute quality at this level , maybe he should play in a David Platt spitting image mask!?
