I think var should just be used for offside decisions and that’s it, it’s ruining football. I hope they get rid of it next season, I think I prefer getting screwed over by a poor referee decision then having every incident bloody reviewed, it’s ruining the flow of the game.

Rather lose to Brighton then one of title chasing rivals, always were going to struggle today with so many players playing a zillion games in the last week, kind of unfair really. But we didn’t lose a 6 pointer so that’s something.

It’s not that it’s unabled to be explained, it’s very explainable, they rank in the top half amongst the top teams for stats you’d want your team to be ranked in, they have just been pretty unfortunate so far this season with luck not quite on their side. They play good football, have some cracking players, Lamptey is outstanding. Maybe Maupay is letting them down a bit currently, if they had Ollie Watkins for example they would be higher up the table.
