  1. No need, we will send it to you, just go......
  2. Schrodinger's striker. He scores goals, but if we observe them, it changes the outcome
  3. Well, would probably be more accurate than most of the crap they come out with
  4. I didn't realise we had offered him a new deal.
  5. Well, in positive news, their shirts are correct, they remain undefeated.
  6. He was known for Putin himself about on the pitch
  7. hmmm, investors buy distressed "asset" BCFC for a pound. Look at options to increase profile. Partner with big name sports star who is looking for avenues to promote his nutritional advice/supplements business and hit him for some investment capital (suspiciously no mention of how much). Clearly a tactic to add some value to their purchase, and it has worked. They may well now have doubled, possibly even trebled in value (up as high as £2-£3). Yes, he will bring some increase of profile to the club, but as soon as people start seeing just how bad they are, how shit their facilities are and what "entertainment" they have on offer, the excitement will quickly die down. If he is still there in 5 years and hasn't quietly bailed, taking a small profit, I will be very surprised. He apparently has a net worth of about £250m. Everyone knows that is nowhere near enough to sustain a premier league club - even relegation fodder like BCFC would be if they somehow managed to get promoted (they won't). Yet the noses are coming out with crap like "Champions League in 5 years". I am still bemused by the fact that something good happens to their club (and Tom Brady involvement is on the face of it good for them as it raises their profile), their first thought is not "what does it mean for us", it's "phwoar, I bet the Villa will be upset by this". Newsflash guys, we aren't upset, or worried, or "rattled". Bemused, yes, and interested to see how it pans out. This obsession they have with us is really weird. When something happens at Villa, the impact on or thoughts of Birmingham City fans doesn't even cross my mind.
  8. Let's just put it this way..... Who would you rather have associated with your club? a) Tom Brady b) Unai Emery It's not even close, is it?
  9. Whilst Payne has 824 career appearances, only 320 were in the First Division (Southampton 1966-1974) so lower percentage (0.63%) Our Charlie has 561 career appearances (not counting the US, because, well, US), but only 256 were in the First Division (1960-1967, 1975-1976) so also a lower percentage (0.5%) for Shits and giggles, Gabby Agbonlahor beats both of them with 322 appearances (0.63%) Gareth Barry wins with 653 appearances in the premier league (1.27%) Peter Shilton is the all time top flight leader with 849 top-flight appearances (1.66%)
  10. So, I realized I messed up the maths on how many matches per season, so I did it again.... correctly this time.... and I realized I got Milner's number of matches wrong so corrected that as well.......and it is still true! in the 135 years since 1888........ DIVISION 1 1888-91 (3 seasons) @ 22 games per team = 132 matches per season = 264 matches 1891-92 (1 season) @ 26 games = 182 matches per season = 182 matches 1892-98 (6 seasons) @ 30 games = 240 matches per season = 1,440 matches 1898-05 (7 seasons) @ 34 games = 306 matches per season = 2,142 matches 1905-15 (10 seasons) @ 38 games = 380 matches per season = 3,800 matches 1919-39 (22 seasons) @ 42 games = 462 matches per season = 10,164 matches 1939-40 (abandoned) @ 3 games = 3 = 33 matches 1946-87 (41 seasons) @ 42 games = 462 matches per season = 18,942 matches 1987-88 (1 season) @ 40 games = 420 matches per season = 420 matches 1988-91 (3 seasons) @ 38 games = 380 matches per season = 1,140 matches 1991-92 (1 season) @ 42 games = 462 matches per season = 462 matches PREMIER LEAGUE 1992-96 (4 seasons) @ 42 games = 462 matches per season = 1,848 matches 1996-23 (27 seasons) @ 38 games = 380 matches per season = 10,260 matches = a total of 51,097 top flight matches since 1888 James Milner has played 615 top-flight matches.... = 615/51097 = 1.203%
  11. Just chatting with a Brighton fan at work, and he asked if I had heard about SHAs new sponsor. His words.... "Undefeated eh? That's going to be a bit awkward after the first game, isn't it!"
  12. He told them Monchi would like a word after the game.
  13. Really? It just seemed to be "keep an eye on Doug"
  14. So nice to be able to celebrate a goal as soon as it goes in. I've missed this! Go Matty 3-2
  15. Not sure I can deal with this commentator saying that Ben Mee is a "great character" and a "brilliant defender" for the rest of the game. The guy is a thug. Plain and simple.
