I don't mean to burst the collective bubble here but might these posts be Gabby trying to be funny? If it's a windup for the 'haters' he has mentioned before? Underlining Gabby's whole career is a total lack of professionalism and an arrogance borne out of having an IQ no higher than a sea cucumber. The latter point means I won't trust a word that he writes or says - he doesn't know what time of f-ing day it is let alone his contractual situation.

This is a phenomenal post. We are all sorry you had to write this. Amazing that so much of the 'business' side of things is also cankered to the core. Supporters are not valued in so many ways. The O'Neil moment was a difficult moment for me, too. I didn't want to see it at the time. Lerner needs to make a loss on us and leave. He said he was a 'custodian': leave it to another now. You can't turn it around. Stop breaking hearts like the poster above. Lerner, your money might give you the chance to do this, not the f-ing right. We are AVFC.

Lost the players - if he ever had them. I think he was okay to alienate those players who weren't pulling their weight when he arrived. Problem is, the squad is not big enough to do that with all of them. He comes across as very honest, he knows the players have not been good enough, but he's also now made a rod for his own back. I would have liked to see him taking a few more under his wing and castigated only a very small number of scapegoats. I think he's too nice for his own good. I feel for him, though, because of the BS that he has dealt with thus far from the board. Perhaps a decent couple of signings in January would have lifted the place? Just a couple. Moreover, the squad is embarrassingly light. Signings would have at least provided some extra energy and members of 'team Remi'. If I was Remi, I'd walk. We can be thankful that he has more class than me,mthough, and will stay on because he said he would. Let's face it: his reign has been a disaster.
