From the BBC's match report today: "This was Villa's 10th home league win in a row - their best run since registering 13 home league victories in succession 40 years ago." But maybe those 13 games weren't all in the league, maybe they were in all competitions? Apologies if so.

Long, painful, injured day at work, just got home hobbling, f****** train delayed yet again... my excuse for this very late yippee... Yippee ! Wow. 5 wins from our first 7 matches!!! Magnificent. Even better than MON's start to his 1st season?! I remember well thay we won 3 from the first 6 that season, I attended one of them (the 2-0 at home to Charlton).

I just learnt that Ukraine is now the most mined country in the world. What a nightmare. Poor Ukraine. No countries should still be using mines, shame on you Putin and Russian military leaders.

I still think it's unfair that we were given three of our first four league games this season away. And now four of our first six away. When you consider how important it is to get off to a good start. But we've got through it well overall, four wins from our first six games is good ! : > And NU winning 8-0 away today makes me feel a little better about our 5-1 defeat against them !

I can't work freelance in France due to Brexit (thanks a lot Brexit). At least I don't think so, I don't think the French government would give me a visa for that.

I hope to spend a week with her in France in January. If we became more than friends then I think I know a way I could get a work visa: going back to TEFL in a language school. I taught English as a foreign language for language schools for six years including three in Paris. I swore I wouldn't teach groups for a language school again but I guess some things are worth making a sacrifice for !

No, exactly, I totally agree. I haven't made any emigration plans. I'm just in love and sad that she's gone back to France again. (The east of france! Far. Boo. Not even the north).
