Riiiight. That last sentence demeans the rest of your post and invalidates any points you might have had, but each to their own. I want Randy gone as much as the next sane Villa fan, but it's not as easy as just taking a loss in order to sell us. We will only be sold when we start performing better and are looking healthier in all other parts of the club, and it looks like there's more wrong with Aston Villa than what we see on the pitch. Something is not right, we just have to hope Tom Fox, Tim Sherwood and the rest of the people behind the scenes can sort it out. I understand why a lot of fans have lost faith over the last few years though, I certainly have. Fair point & my terminology may not sit comfortably with everyone but it certainly doesn't "demean" my views! I agree that "Something is not right" what I & thousands of other Villa fans have every right to know is.....what isn't right & how the hell did it get/was allowed to get to the point where the club is so rotten that no one wants to touch it???

You may want him to run your company if your company isn't a football club! I could have made this appointment......a guy out of work,no compensation required,don't interview anyone else......uninspiring......lacking in imagination......this is the level our once great club has stooped to!!! Ash, the first three there are managers i'd love to see but why do you think they would come here at this stage? I think Tuchel would come here he's unemployed so why wouldn't he Clement i agree with you because he's probably more than happy being a number 2 at one of the best clubs in the world Gourvennec deserves a bigger club than Guincamp he's worked wonders with them Remi Garde is also available but Newcastle will probably get him I'd at least want us to try other targets before we appoint Sherwood i hope we are looking into people like this and not just going with the stale standard usual picks We used to be a big club lets try and act like one for a change eh Really can't argue with this. The appointment would speak volumes about where we now are as a club.

I must admit to being firmly in the Bilic camp. I think he'd be perfect for us & vice versa. I can't see it happening though,at least while the current regime are in charge! Like many on here,I agree that our great club at the moment is rotten to the core. I honestly believe that on our current form we will only avoid relegation by the grace of God! It's going to get worse before it gets better I fear!
