The point is we SHOULD make those bids, I'm not guessing we are signing them just that we should have. Aarons for a reported 4 million more than Cash..... no brainer.

Indeed you need players on the way up, room to grow, lower wages so you can incentivise to stay, reward or they are easier to move on. Wages are the killer of transfer budgets in the future.

Correct he wants to stay at Chelsea this season and secure that first team place or fail. He knows that is the smart move for him and that all the opportunities he has this season will still be there next season.

He was out half the season so it stands to reason he would have scored double what he did and that’s with poor service. I don’t see Watkins as a major upgrade and a striker is third on the priority list.

Yep I totally agree and the back up currently isn’t up to standard and old.

I watched his goals this season and the thing that stuck out was the poor quality of them. The keeping was awful, loads of shots close to the keeper and poor defending. I would be surprised if he hit 12 in this league.

Anyone can score with good chances they just don’t score as many as a good striker. The wide forwards are the outlet balls for relieving pressure from the defence, they lead the press and free up Grealish so he isn’t marked by two or three players. It also stops the opposition committing more people forward because they are wary of the break.

I would rather those three than Watkins.

Yes those are the priority signings although the wide forwards are by far the most important to sort out.
