  1. Never had that defining moment to snap him out of his poor form. Low on confidence and struggling with perhaps second season syndrome. Well done to him today though, in the right place at the right time for his first, and he seemed to almost grow a few feet before rising for his second. A point to prove for the whole team and he put the exclamation mark on it. Would anyone back him to score vs City now?
  2. Wheel chair gif inc. Well done Jordan, played like a man today!
  3. I would like him to stay also, with that caveat that this season has been largely unacceptable and cannot be repeated. If he's got no more money he needs now to spend bigger on less players. Quality over quantity. Generally speaking when he hasnt spent pennies he's gotten good buys. He can definitely spot a player - and even his cheaper purchases show good promise. I think it's been an unfortunate season in almost every way possible, which, unfortunately, might make his position untenable, but I do think it would be a shame to lose him.
  4. Guzan - 7 - Tidy, calm and confident. Lowton - 6 - No mistakes Vlaar - 6 - Solid Baker - 6 - No mistakes Clark - 6 - No mistakes Berty - 6 - No mistakes Westwood - 7 - Took his chance well, controlled midfield Delph - 6 - Looked lively, calm under pressure Marc - 7 - Kept Hull under pressure Gabby - 7 - Terrorised them before going off Andi - 9 - Great work rate as usual, finally found his scoring boots (head?) Bowery - 9 - Good impact, lead the line well, worked as hard as anyone and finally rewarded with a good performance Lambert - 8 - Players were up for it, we attacked well, defended well enough and weren't headless chickens Lets hear more about this takeover now then!
  5. Excellent assist, and excellently taken goal. Tactically getting forward we've been spot on working the channels. Both Andi & J Bow turning their defense inside out.
  6. 3 headers and in. Hull are here for the taking...and queue inevitable collapse (please prove me wrong).
  7. That linesman looks like he is up passed his bed time. **** shocking stuff.
  8. Bowerz lad to prove himself an unlikely hero with a 5 minute hattrick. Odds anyone?
  9. My god I didn't need that side angle of Bruce. He really is a fat **** pig.
  10. We do look very "up for it" at least. Stating the obvious but we really need a couple to effectively kill this game off before Long gets his inevitable sniff.
  11. **** get in. Put these to **** bed now and end this season please.
  12. We don't want gingers either. Remember McLeish right? Come back with a proper name. In fairness if he shaved his silly facial ornament off no one would be able to tell. But we would know, and I guess that's all that matters... Hopefully if we do get a takeover the club can upgrade from a black & white fax machine (does this actually exist?) and we'll be able to weed them out as they apply.
  13. Let's wait for Sean Dyche to stablise Burnley in the prem, perhaps beating us on the last day then "go again" with him as the new "Lambert"? At least he is not Scottish, I don't think?
  14. Made Shaw look bad in the second half! Still remember him out performing Young/Downing in their final season here...Think with the right coaching he could live up to the potential he was once thought to have.
  15. Just about enough effort from the players but set up totally wrong. Absolutely no service to the front two, and not enough movement in any area of the ptich for us to really threaten Palace until we made the disasterously late subs. I'm a big fan of Lambert, but this was absolutely pathetic. 4 losses in a row and relegation should not be anywhere near our radar and yet we find ourselves in our 4th successive season looking over our shoulders and hoping there are 3 teams worse than we are.
  16. Why not make a change when it has been blatently obvious that we need to?
  17. Palace's game plan is as obvious as ours. Theyre going to fill all the space behind the ball to stop any passes/movement and then break as fast as they can! We do struggle when teams force us to "ask the question" but I fancy the longer is stays like this the more our players will rebuild their confidence and grow in to the game. Assuming we don't concede from one of these counters in the mean time...
  18. Who Scored has him @ 96% pass accuracy with 63 passes vs Norwich. *edit* 94% sorry, sell him.
