  1. If we can get a few together might be worth a go next season.
  2. Does anyone play in one of those dynasty/keeper leagues and if so, is it any good?
  3. I pre-ordered the game but don't usually make the changeover until this time. Where has the 2D view gone?? I noticed you can view the 3D game as 2D but it doesn't look as crisp as it used to and highlights are still in 3D. Alan Hutton has a full head of hair for christ sake.
  4. We've been moving up the table steadily all season. Is that not classed as getting better?
  5. We've played 3 of the top 6 away from home already this season. Whilst that table doesn't look great I think we've got some more favorable matches to come.
  6. It took me a long time to realise this but I don't actually need to like the manager of my club to support him. I think Bruce is a bit of a knob to be honest but I don't think he has done much wrong for the past couple of months and he has my full support.
  7. I've only seen the Sky Sports highlights so far and listened to the god awful AVTV commentary with my ears pressed against the speaker. It looks like they had one chance and scored and we had a few chances that probably should have been tucked away? Does that sound about right? Bruce has acknowledged we didn't play well and the fact that the same team played only a few days before may have played into that but if we go on and beat Ipswich this weekend that is an excellent way to bounce back from the disappointment of Sheffield Wednesday.
  8. Based on that picture alone I think he'd win the World Heavyweight title.
  9. Not having that RB that get's you 30 plus week in, week out is a killer!
  10. EDIT: Ignore, I've been sucked into the Rabbit hole again. Can't be arsed. See you lot again in a few months. x
  11. You don't reflect on your decisions based on hypothetical scenarios though do you? If you're expecting much more than what we gave on Saturday then you're going to be in for a miserable season. I thought we did pretty much everything right and on another day could have had 4 or 5.
  12. If you think Jedinak and Lansbury can do what Whelan does then I think we have reached an impasse in this discussion.
  13. Didn't see this. Now i'm even more baffled. Who was Whelan getting over run by? We weren't even under any real pressure. I don't believe Whelan or Hourihane are designated 'Defensive midfielders' either, it just so happens that Hourihane is a bit of a work horse and gets about the pitch more. Seems like it's a well balanced midfield to me. Whelan and Jedinak are not like for like either so replacing them as such would not make sense. Jedinak is much more defensive minded, stronger both physically and in the air but doesn't have the energy that Whelan has. Jedinak needs to be in a three man midfield for me. I mentioned this in my previous reply but again De Laet, whilst not a natural winger, holds some of the traits of a winger. He's absolutely rapid but also knows what a full back would want in terms of coverage. We saw out the game brilliantly and comfortably.
  14. His subs were perfect for me. Firstly on Whelan, he had a bit of a wobble in the second half where he almost dropped a few clangers but he is essential to our midfield now. The only person who could potentially have come on for him would have been Lansbury but how fit is he? On the substitutions. I was calling for Onomah to go off around the 65 minute mark, not because he was bad, he was excellent in fact, but because I felt we needed to go with a defensive midfielder to see out the game. Bruce did exactly that but it was Snodgrass instead of Onomah. No problems with that one. De Laet on the right was again a good decision. A defensive minded player who is absolutely rapid does two things, Shores up the defence, but also gets their full backs worrying about him getting in behind. Clever substitution. Finally Bjarnasson does exactly the same on the other side. Fresh set of legs, good energy and decent ability to see out the game. I do wonder if Bruce will ever win when people hold opinions like this. As much as it pains some people to admit Bruce got everything right today except maybe going with a bit more creativity to start the game but that is me being ultra picky. Enjoy the result you miserable gits.
  15. FFS! Watched Red Zone for the early games and was flying by the end of them. Woke up to see the Pats had demolished the Raiders and thought "Well Gronk must have done well then". No. Brady went balls deep and my supposedly better players did **** all again. I also seem to have a knack of picking a kicker that either loses me points or gets zero points. Season over.
  16. I’m not convinced Spurs have enough space in their squad to develop two more younger players. I’m hoping they steer clear of Davis and decide that they can buy better than Onomah.
  17. Class yesterday. Him and Davis are building up a great understanding.
  18. As it stands I’d give everyone, including Bruce 10/10. Thought that was a great all round performance.
  19. Both are equally as ridiculous in my opinion.
  20. Yeah, that's whats happened. His Burkhead claim was processed first, then my Kansas one which meant by the time the Perine was done I was behind him in the waiver priority. That's why I wondered if they were processed based on the time they were put in or if it's just random. I'm sure I could have tbh. I might not even be starting Kansas either! If Dallas O line are back healthy then I will, If it's the same people in as last week then I might roll out Phillie. Dak was running for his life last week!
