It baffles me why he sold Collins, fair enough he was looking to bring in a more youthful squad but NOT THE CENTER HALVES that is just suicidal. If we could only have a good backline I can take some positives out of this mess. Yes we brought in Vlaar but if we lose him we have no experience at the back whatsoever, which is what is costing us right now.

We can't counter attack, we can't hold possession, our long ball game is poor and I haven't seen a through ball for a good few hours. This is not football its just hit it and hope the opposition makes a mistake or one of our team scores a long shot (that's how we won the last game at stoke).

Can't see Lerner spending money now if it can be avoided, he wants his millions back.

The problem is Lambert won't ask for money since it will jeopardise his job, he just gets what's available I assume. There can't be many managers who can work on this budget, even promoted sides spend more than us.

There may have been a Graham Taylor lineup that was worse, but its a close call.

We can't build any kind of form with the current players, we will be banking on vlaar and benteke returning and hoping they make a difference.

The problem is it isn't going to get better, majority of the points we have we have stolen and this run of form has been due for a long time.

Maybe keep Sylla if he improves. Looks harsh but I am aiming for improving the quality dramatically with the money from Benteke. Edit: Just saw you want names of the new players, will have to sleep on it !

I feel its more the case of him being squeezed out of games and the complete lack of service apart from hopeful long balls in the air (Guzan seems to prefer this every time). Last season he seemed to have so much more space in front of him when he turned with the ball now he's turning into 3 defenders every time. We simply aren't not working as a team and working the oppositions defence when were not counter attacking, if we stretched their fullbacks then benteke would be allowed more space but gabby and weimann never do that since they always cut back into the middle. Albrighton perhaps is the way forward as he did what you would expect from a wide player.
