    I think it is time for the mud slinging to stop now,McLeish,Houllier,Gary Mac,Grant & General Krulak have all moved on,yes PF remains but folk need to get off his back now and start posting posistives for a change about Aston Villa,the black cloud has lifted lets all move on.

    Norwich will not want to sell any players to Villa atm,it is obvious that their best players will be linked though,unless they have a set transfer fee release clause in their contract none of them will follow PL to us. The Norwich Chairman is already suggesting Holt will only leave for silly money and he suggested we could not afford him with our budget! Sour grapes of course but expected.

    When PL is confirmed everyone should get behind him 100% forget posting anything negative,remember how bad the last 12 months have been? Folks on here would have taken anyone a few weeks ago we were that desperate but it looks as though we have possibly got ourselves a very good young Manager this time.

    Lambert is under contract sometimes these things take time plus Norwich don't want to lose him.

    Lambert has ambition he is no fool but a Winner, if he gets the job get behind him & stop moaning there is NO perfect solution.

    Norwich would fight tooth & nail to keep Lambert,maybe they have finally realised that he wants to talk to us but have been trying to prevent him from doing so.

    How do you know that Lambert was second in line CI? Actually you don't do you.

    Lambert or Di Matteo have been my choices from day 1,sticking to it in that order and hoping Lambert gets the job.

    Lambert is still odds on fav at the bookies,it is very quiet regarding him,you just never know!

    I think that most people appreciate the info posted by the likes of MM,Gazton,Julie B & trees, I hope they continue to contribute on here.

    Good player for Villa was Gareth,Manager for us is a No though.

    OGS was definately Not offered the Villa job, nor was he going to be at this time.

    IF RDM was given the job then people need to get off his back & give him a chance,he would be better than a whole host of names linked. He only lives in Ashley De La Zouch and would imo do a good job for us.
