  1. Though i prefer the 2008 release
  2. just browsing my facebook feed and it looks like now we are leaving the EU, we can have misleading inaccurate meme's posted all over facebook about us.already a good demonstration of the new wave of asperation, isn't it good
  3. I'd had though re camerons resigntion without invoking article 50 along these very lines very soon after he did so, though I never fleshed it out like this one
  4. damn always someone ruining the dream
  5. well i've stayed fairly non vocal before the referendum, mostly because i had a very personal interest in it is very likely the company (a german owned one) i work for will relocate to a EU member state, the question was asked of directors leading up to the brexit vote and they were very candid and honest in their answers. In the very likely event they do follow through with this i've got about 2 years at most to find another job, I'm aware of only one other indusrty competitor within the UK but theyre foreign owned as well so i have no idea on their plans to remain, I'm probably looking at about a 30% pay cut looking at the type of jobs on offer in related industries, loos like even if the management training and position i had been offered is still on offer, post brexit which is unlikely i might be better off not taking it. not blaming anyone for how they have voted, not feeling particlarly sorry for myself, but spent the day trying to work some things out and try to plan for the future so that in the likely event of the above happening i can make the best of it
  6. strangely by the time we have negotiated out exit from the EU, it might not actually exist as we know it, we could be the first domino.
  7. it's more about complaining about people making assumptions whilst making an assumption themselves
  8. hmmm just seen an interesting post about people calling leave voters rascist, just because leave won. picture me with my forehead firmly planted in the palm of my hand.
  9. negative interest, you have savings in the bank, pretty hard to have them anywhere else and still have them readily available to use, and you lose some of them every year or month depending on when interest is paid? back to stuffing £20 notes under the mattress, until then totally withdraw paper money
  10. The referendum is purely an instruction (or more correctly an advise) to parliament, it's not legally binding, I believe Cameron did promise the result would stick and be acted upon, good job for the leave campaign he's still prime minister then. Oh what was that. however it would probably be political suicide and show enormous balls to not uphold the result, well we can rule out anyone having the balls to do it.
  11. not sure what's happened overnight because according to an awful lot of facebook posts Ive seen today it appears i've woken up in 1914 .
