  1. Didn't see this posted anywhere else. Just seen that Petrov's charity game will be shown on BT Sport 2 at 1.30pm on Sunday 8th Sept. Great news! Thought I would post in case anyone wasn't aware.
  2. Very cool. Definitely going to influence the amount of away games I go to!
  3. Really like Delph, would have been great for him to score against Arsenal as he deserved it.
  4. For what it's worth, at least Lerner has spent more than the Arsenal board...
  5. I can see the headline now. Baggies Bag Bannan.
  6. Utterly baffled that Bannan was apparently at the Hawthorns today?!?
  7. Really pleased for the guy. Terrific goal and completely unexpected for a LB. Seems like another great signing by Lambert.
  8. Agree that the coverage seemed to focus on how Arsenal "looked awful" and had a depleted squad. Lets not forgot this is the same Arsenal side that went on a very good run at the end of last season. A team with Giroud, Wilshere, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain is always going to be difficult to beat Really chuffed with the win and looking forward to the rest of the campaign.
  9. From Benteke's Facebook... Dear fans, I can proudly announce that I signed a new contract with Aston Villa FC - Official. Last season I worked really hard and I hope I fulfilled the club's expectations, for which I also want to thank all the fans who supported me. Therefore I decided to renew my contract with The Villans! I hope to do even better this season and to help Aston Villa become one of the most important teams in the Premier League again.
  10. I still have nightmares about his mistake against Man City, but I think he's a useful addition to the squad.
  11. It's a bit of an odd one. If it's playing time he's worried about he'd definitely get given a chance by Lambert, so perhaps Villa just decided they'd look elsewhere.
  12. Hi all, New member here, live in the Midlands and am a massive fan of the Villa. Don't live as close to Villa Park as I'd like to sadly, but it's still reasonably convenient to get to the games. The last game I went to was the Sunderland home game Going to university this year but will still follow all the games when possible and hopefully be able to go to a few matches too. Cheers,
