    Not sure about you but a decent tottenham ( Providing they sign one or two more) team providing Benteke up top with Bale just behind him sounds mouth watering to me... I'd be amazingly shocked if they didn't get champions league football next year with that squad. i dont think Bale will be there next season tbf. i'm not saying they will out of the running but with Chelsea strengthening Arsenal the same and their just not good enough to compete the Manchester clubs i cannot see them getting that fourth spot.

    He's obv destined for big things and playing for a top club in the Champs league, if he goes to Spurs this season for £25-30 Million and they will not be getting champs league in the next 2-3 seasons i cannot see them letting him go to say someone like Madrid/Milan/PSG etc etc after one or two seasons, if he stays with us for another season and smashes it like he did last seaon on top of a good world cup then we will not stand in his way to go to a top club in the Champs league. If him or his dope of an agent has a brain cell betweem them then they will work that out sooner rather then later....hopefully

    just checked the flights details on Ryanair and the only flights to Dusseldorf are from Standstead and the closest airport to the ground is Dortmund anyway and they dont fly to Dortmund from the UK

    To be honest if he goes he goes dust yourself off move on i'm sure Lambert will invest the money wisely obv i'd be happy if he stayed but all this will he won't stay drama that has been rumbling on from the moment the final whistle is just making me like him less and less hope this gets sorted soon so we know where we stand in relation to areas on strengthening the team.

    Even though i can't stand Blose i wouldn't wish this on them...well maybe until they have slipped into League 2 for a few seasons anyway

    I think Helenius will be a savvy purchase and seems genuinely happy to be here, unlike Benteke who has never really seemed that endearing towards us apart from suggesting we are a stepping stone. I Still beleive the team will stay pretty much the same from last year apart from Luna starting and Okore replacing Baker, and if Benteke stays then the forward players will remain the same.

    Good morning fellow villa fans I've been following this site for a few months now so feel now its about time to join the VillaTalk Family. I've been a villa fan all my life earliest memories being watching David Platt after squeezing my way to the front of the Holte End when it was all standing to enduring the torrid season under Big Feck and all the ups and downs in between that make me proud to be a Villa fan. P.S. I'm Trying to shine some positives on the opening fixtures UTV!!!
