  1. AAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  2. Facepalm. General Krulak's comments? Which ones? The ones one on mother-loving FACEBOOK? Really hard to set up a duff account on Facebook called Charlie Krulak if you're abored nose ay it?
  3. For the love of God. What is wrong with people? It's been about two weeks without a manager. In close season. When everyone is on holiday. What's the rush. People going ape about hating Lerner because of this McLeish bollocks? All we have is **** Peter Pan shouting his mouth off, and a fake General's comment on Facebook. Incidentally, Randy Lerner messaged me on flippin' Bebo earlier and told me he thinks McLeish is a word removed, so there you go, no need to worry. I can prove it's genuine because I talk complete bollocks. Calm the **** down - it's embarrassing!
  4. If I was a bit less poor this month I'd be laying this like a bitch. Just had £20 on it though. not a chance in hell. Would be suicidal of Randy.
  5. What is this H bollocks about...? I'm sure it's somewhere in the last 258 pages, but....
  6. Solo piano? Almost certainly Gabriela Montero Top classical totty! Naw, full orchestra - from Xann's advice, I think it was a czech orchestra, but my laptop died while I was looking, so I'll have a look in a bit
  7. I think I basiclaly like anything Stanley Kubrick likes
  8. I really want to get into classical music more, but find it quite impenetrable trying to get to know who's who and what's what, and it's not like a certain piece that you hear and love is easily findable, as there are so many different recordings. For example, I was listening to Classic FM a few weeks back and they played Handel's Sarabande - it was probably the most stunnign thing I've ever heard, but I don't know who it was performed by, and consequentially will probably never find it again, which is doing my head in. Anyone got any recommendations for me...? I don't like tippy-tappy classical music... I like it bolshy, brash and slightly mental. Like that Sarabande, or Purcell's Funeral March of Queen Mary. O Fortuna from Carmina Burana, and Mars and Jupiter by Holst... that sort of powerful stuff I find amazing, but no idea where I should go and look for more....
  9. I'd kill anyone who harmed my cat. He's brilliant.
  10. Applaud, and hope he liked it enough here to come back when he gets bired of coming iff the city bench to play on the wing...
  11. Important not to isolate the walls of noise that are the Trinity and the Doug Ellis eh? Seriously, people aren't going to 'research' on youtube and learn the words to a song to sing at the football. Not most people anyway, who go along to the game as a tradition, a few beers, a sing, a shout, a laugh with the lads, cheer the team on and some chips on the way home. 'Songsheets' and the like... the idea makes my skin crawl, and I'd have the piss ripped out of me for weeks, rightly, by my mates if the club tried to get an anthem going via the programme or songsheets or something. Imagine if SHA did that, we'd be ripping it out of them!
  12. ^^I guess so. But you ain't gonna get the holte singing, in time, to that song. It simply will never take off. Sing 'Bells Are Ringing'. It's our song. Bring it back.
  13. This. Simple. Unique. Traditional. Dunno why it never gets sung.
  14. Seating has buggered atmospheres, no doubt, and I don't think the holte being in two helps. Speaking as someone at the back of the lower holte, the noise from the upper just passes above us and you can hardly hear them, and as a consequence the lower is quiet too. It's the same everywhere. But you are not going to get 40,000 people, or even 40 people, singing an 'anthem' that has jack all to do with the Villa that has about 300 words. And if you think putting songsheets or playing it over the PA is the answer, then I respectfully disagree in the strongest possible terms....
  15. # This would be absolutely cringeworthy and incredibly smalltime. Perhaps we should have goal music too?!
  16. First post of yours I've agreed with in all 6,667 you've posted mate Here's hoping it gets settled sooner rather than later...
  17. I belive it was, yep. Shocking stat, really.
  18. Are you suggesting a centre midfield of Delfouneso and Carew...? Plenty to blame, but lay off the kids ffs. Like it or not, they're our future. At least they can put a tackle in.
  19. I don't think we should count England's world cup win either as it happened before the Winter of Discontent.
