A cat went missing by us a few months back, there was posters everywhere asking people to check garages, sheds etc. One day I was walking the dog and spotted what looked very much like a squashed version of the cat in the road. Very sad.

No idea who they are but its a cool name, buy that one.

The only thing I'll swap my Focus Diesel for will be a newer one. It just does everything so well. Cracking mpg and plenty of power, all the creature comforts I need and decent space both in the boot and the back seats. The only trap that I fell into was that thinking spare parts for it would be dirt cheap considering how many there are about, very wrong. Parts for it are very expensive, especially when compared to those for its French and German made competition.

I've had a few French cars over the years and they've mainly run very well but pretty much all of them have had some kind of crazy unexplainable, unfixable electric fault.

Or a 1.6 Turbo Diesel :oops: HAHA busted :winkold: Too right Its a cracking motor (when its not broken) 110bhp with a turbo is plenty for my 86mile round trip for work. As a spin off discussion, how far are your commutes to work? Anyone beat 43miles each way?

That's what I'm thinking Meath, according the my car it was 6Deg this morning which I believe is the coldest morning so far, it was really damp in the air and I had the front and rear heated screens on, the fan on full tilt and the lights on, if the battery had any kind of injury I think this abuse would have found it out

2010 turning to be an expensive year, with the obvious expense of my first child (worth every penny btw), I've had to shell out over £700 to get the turbo replaced on my car, recently got a £320 bill for root canal treatment and today my car has got another problem :-( Just in case anyone is familiar with it, my Ford Focus decided that it would shut down the ABS and the Power Steering shortly after getting out of my street this morning. It then decided it wouldn't start (symptom of flat battery), then fired up no problem but displayed 'power steering failure', then I restarted it and all appeared ok... I went home and jumped in the wifes car anyway). I'm hoping (from a google about) that it is down to a dodgy battery so will hope its a simple £50 job but you never know...

I called the Police once, I was walking back to the apartment I used to live in and a couple of teenagers were relieving a car of its parcel shelf speakers. Another lad was running towards them saying 'hurry up'. I called the plod and explained the situation. They called me back a bit later on confirming they intervened the youngsters I mentioned and one of the lads was able to prove it was his car :oops:
