    I'm just saying that when there is a big deal/story around there will be people trying to grab some of the publicity for themselves. Collymore last night a great example, trying to make a name for himself by being controversial, he seriously cannot believe what he said. Twitter seems to be the perfect media for lazy journalists to hide behind.

    Yeah, I'm quite shocked at just the level of the questioning. Are Sunderland a top six club? no. Are Villa a bottom 6 club? No. Anyone who knows anything about football will realise that. The table will settle down and although not a great season we'll finish in the top half I'm sure. I also expect Sunderland to finish closer to the middle of the table (which would still represent a good year for them).

    People keep talking about the money but with Sidwell and very likely Carew off the wage bill we've more than covered his wages. The initial transfer fee is pretty much covered by James Milner and the £3m ish we'll get for JC will cover the majority of the add ons. Its not like we've had to remortgage the stadium to pay for him is it.
