  1. I have viewed all eventualities and Forest finish rock bottom in all of them
  2. Ref needs to get a handle on this or we’ll have another long term injury
  3. Not sure it would have gone back that far but even if Watkins is onside it looked a foul throw to me at quick glance
  4. No way. Mings got the ball as well didn’t he, for the freekick? Only saw it once on replay
  5. Promising first 5. Actually playing with some tempo and it’s night and day to needlessly slowing it down and letting a side settle in formation. They are very lucky not to have a yellow already.
  6. They are conceding goals for fun, no excuse for a 0-0 bore fest today. Glad to see Buendia starting hopefully cements his place.
  7. Just had a quick look at this because it does seem a good parallel and completely unsurprisingly Lage actually has a better PPG than Gerrard (1.29 to 1.24).
  8. In what way is this clear? When were the goalposts moved so drastically?
  9. A PPG of 1 this season and 1.21 for the calendar year as a whole, (if my calculations were correct) which would have us finishing almost exactly where we did last year. Considering the ambitions expressed by the owners, you'd assume the writing is on the wall. On the road to absolutely no where.
  10. Is this satire? This is a stronger squad than what we finished 11th with.
  11. Turn it around? We are 17th in the form table. I'm sure the decision makers will be judging the situation with a little more nuance than the previous games result.
  12. Ings joined off the back of scoring 22 in 32 and 12 in 26 in the league, then proceeded to have his worst WhoScored rated season last year with us since his injured ravaged 17/18 with Liverpool and is ranked lower than that so far this season. Bailey hit 9 goals and 8 assists in the BL, was statistically the 13th best player in the league and has largely looked a headless chicken under us. I am struggling to think of a player who hasn't looked worse the longer Gerrard has been here, I'm not surprised as no-one has a clue what they are doing under this "system". Whether players are accurately rated or not is largely redundant for me at this point as we are going to have no actual idea whilst we have someone furiously trying to smash a square peg in a round hole at the helm.
  13. We might burgle this 1-0 but please for the love of god can we just get a real football manager in. A squad with Coutinho, Buendia, Ramsey, Bailey, Ings etc available has no excuse to be this **** boring, the xG table for the season says it all. Unbelievably dour.
  14. Why the **** are we allowing the World Cup to be played in this hell hole? Completely transparent sportswashing exercise and it seems freely acknowledged the award was due to bribery, yet all seems to just be business as usual. Any self-respecting footballing nations had a real opportunity here to send a clear, and historic, message with a boycott but no let’s wear rainbow laces and take a knee every now and then “to preserve the impact” or have a sponsors name faded out, that’ll show everyone.
  15. All shit-tier links so far but if Poch really is interested but Gerrard stumbles through enough results to survive his availability I can genuinely see this being viewed for decades as a monumental "what could have been". I'd bet my mortgage Gerrard doesn't survive the season but I have horrible visions of us having slim pickings akin to when we got rid of Smith when the higher-ups finally decide enough is enough.
  16. Blokes probably begging to play every minute of every game for the obligatory penalty
  17. Grealish, Foden, Bellingham, Sancho, Kane Et al. We have the ingredients to be one of the most dynamic exciting sides in the world yet are completely wasting it under this fraud and some people still can't see it and defend him. I used to watch every England game but don't think I've watched one since the final, this clown has broken me.
  18. It seems inevitable Pep will stay until he’s wins the Champions League, although perhaps that will be this season, but regardless I really hope he doesn’t renew his contract and this is the last we see of his Man City. Cant remember a side ever feeling this untouchable and Haaland has elevated them further, **** sick of them tbh.
  19. Eh? In what universe? We are 18th in the league on expected goals with an extra game played. I pity anyone who has watched Aston Villa this season and described them as “too attacking”, watching Greece’s 2004 Euro games on repeat would surely be the only way to placate such a person. Perhaps you’re confusing criticism of us getting caught with our fullbacks out of position as that of being “too attacking”. An issue that looks to have been somewhat remedied by the forced inclusion of Young.
