I just hope that as we bring him through there is plenty of patience. He seems to have all of the tools but he isnt even 18 years old yet. I just hope we do not build him up into another Bellingham because theres a 99 percent chance he will not be . It might be 3 years before he shows all of his talent . Might be even 6 years. He might tail off . And he might turn into the greatest youngster since Gary Shaw. We just need to support him and give him the time to mature . The right pace is at his natural pace.

Great point but how do you know that we didnt approach him and he turned us down. He has lived in london for over 12 years. Maybe his wife and kids don't want to move. The greedy 6 club is helping us by filling a gap for a year.

Another player who has improved since coming to the club. He is strong fast and can really break up play. Also has a fantastic attitude. When he gets tackled and the ref blows he is straight up on his feet looking to get the game moving

I think the idea is to fill our squad with 11 really really good players who offer all kinds of different abilities which at any point can be match winners for instance Bailey .. Pace Ings .. Finishing Buendia .. passing Martinez .. incredible saves These 4 players are considered to be right at the top end of their relative strengths.

Junx i think you will find the loan will suit us. We have two highly rated 17 year old centre halves and a 16 year old. Give them another year and 1 of them will have hopefully pushed on and into the squad.

This might be to cover CB and RB as Deano doesnt rate Guilbert particularly. Really good move as this then doesnt block the pathway forBogarde into the squad who Deano obviously rates extremely highly.

I think that this seasons expectations and ambitions going forward should be realigned. Going to be a strange one to say but it makes the most sense. We should aim to finish above Leicester. Forget top 6 top 4 etc etc. Leicester are the best team in the league that we can compete with. We havent got the huge revenue compared to others. So we need to do it cleverly. And the cleverest out there by a mile are Leicester. How they buy and sell.how their scouting pays dividends . How they play. They are the model on and off the pitch . So my 21/22 expectation is to mirror Leicester and forget everyone else

I think that if you even just watch his finishing you can see how different it is to alot of others at that age. He can place it extremely well. He can hit with real power and he can manipulate the ball easily to either finish low or high. His second goal in the newcastle youth cup game and the opener against west brom made me watch them over and over . Aaron is a great goal getting midfielder but at higher levels just like his brother i think he will find it far more difficult. Carney i think would be prolific in the Premier . He just has something really special.

It depends how he is looked at by Deano. He played alot of football at 10 last season . Even though he is physically reminiscent of a CM . He could even play the Greedish role such is his touch and vision and guile. He has such quick feet.

Highly likely and i think i like him even more for it. Purslow is also a minor owner of Villa so he has long term interests in making sure there is as even a playing field as possible. Makes sense why it was silent . They probably made Ings sign an NDA which is why he couldnt even tell his dad. Its good because the owners and Purslow are thinking long term even when they take a hit short term.

No one . But he wants Ward Prowse and has bid for him . Whereas for most of us here we would be putting that 50 mill down on Bissouma . I don't know if he will change tack now and change priorities but this is probably the only opp for a while to go and get a really brilliant oven ready midfielder . Spend serious money to try and take control of that midfield

Everything screams a top top Defensive midfielder should be on the way. But i think Smith prefers ball controllers rather than destroyers.

Ings will play and play a lot. Deano will remember last seasons burn out and Greedish being out for 3 months and he simply cannot afford to have one good striker. Now we have 2 very good strikers . Who will be able to get rest when needed rather than being flogged to death . Its how it works . And will actually lead to increased ingame output . Whether they play together sometimes or whether its a one or the other situation at other times it increases the quality of our play throughout 90 mins. I fully expect Deano to make 50 percent more subs this season. To protect our players . Watkins and Ings Bailey and Traore Young and Targett There isnt the drop off in quality anymore And i think you will find that our next 2 signings will achieve the same.
