I'm assuming the "no proper bills" part means you're living with your parents? I see no way how people of our generation can save anywhere near that sort of money unless you have a very, very well paid job, or live with parents and have zero outgoings. Also, FYI, eleven thousand pounds is shed load of money. Not earning much only £22k. I rent with my gf but share the bills. My share is £200 a month rent, around £200 on other bills (electricity, etc) and £150 on petrol (insurance paid annually) about £150 on going Out. I can easily save between £500 - £700 a month (usually £700). When I say not proper bills I mean no silly £1000 a month mortgage and im not a mong who gets a car like a shitty punto on credit paying over £200 a month for 5 years like my friend did. Saving just £500 a month brings in £6000 a year. Ive been working full time for 4-5 years now, so £11, 000 is nothing considering I have no mortgage or mega monthly bills to pay. Going on holidays is more important to me then buying a house. This may be simplifying things, but why do you bother saving so much then? Why not head off to South America or something for a few weeks? Getting a few weeks off is next to impossible in a full time job (well it has been in my experience) and convincing my gf to go is just as bad. Only go for no more then a week each time but always to a different country. Why would you not want to save?? Surely you need something to tide you over to pay an unexpected bill or to save to go travelling. living paycheck to paycheck is a sad way to live imo

Take a chill pill...What is so awful about it?? You never wondered how much the average person has saved up?? I don't know anyone on here in the real world, doubt you do really so what's the problem. Be brave, how much do you have in your account?? I have £11k saved and £500 in my everyday account. Not much really considering im late 20's with no proper bills but more then my mates. I try to save at least £700 a month after ive paid bills and used the rest on meals, clothes, etc. No idea how to invest it. I could use it as a deposit on a house for me and the gf but the thought of slaving my arse away to pay for a house is getting less appealing as I get older. I spend most my money on going abroad at least 5 times a year but I intend to use it all to travel the world in a year or two then ill have nothing but memories.

What are the chances of becoming a photographer full time and earn a good living out of it? ? My pal has given up his Day job to do photography full time. Like model portfolio and fashion pics. I have no idea how he is doing financially out of it but seems so many people doing the same thing it would be hard to earn a decent living from it...maybe he does who knows

Ive always thought khan's style would cause Mayweather problems with the sheer volume of punches he throws and the fact floyd isn't a big puncher. However anyone who saw khan's last fight will realise what a joke this fight is. The guy is finished at the top level at 27 and I'm serious. A light punching average fighter like diaz was rocking him every time he caught him. Khan's punch resistance has GONE and he had changed his style in that he throws no where near the same volume of punches he used too. He lost his speed as well. I just don't get how he has declined so badly at such a young age. Joke fight. If garcia knocked khan out and is undefeated then it should be him or at least Bradley. Would anyone attend an interview for a job their not really sure they want?? I'm a bit sick of the industry I work in, supply chain management. Fancy a change where I don't have to sit at a desk all day. I don't mind my job currently as its so easy and stress free however there is absolutely no chance of progression and I fancied doing something else anyway so was using my time researching new roles. However I have an interview for a company in the same industry that is bigger, offers more opportunities, bigger salary, less commute but more stress and ill be at a desk all day?? Would people go to the interview for experience and to see if they like it even if they are not excited in the slightest or not bother??

Saw Rush on Saturday. I can't stand F1 or anything about cars in general so wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Well made and beautifully shot. Not sure on the acting of the guy who played James Hunt though. Car lover or not its worth seeing. 7 out of 10

really? i thought Will Smith's previous 6 films (before his current one) ranged from good to excellent. Hitch - excellent The Pursuit of Happyness - excellent I am Legend - excellent Hancock - good Seven Pounds - great Men in Black 3 - good Not sure if serious??????? Those films range from atrocious to mediocre. Last good Tom Cruise was valkyrie. Was very good. Then you would have to go right back to 2004 to find his next Good film, collateral. He was excellent in that.
