  1. This. And two of the 3 chances were down to vlaar getting beaten, which probably will stop happening or he'll get dropped
  2. Their actual best forward will be back around Christmas from a torn knee ligament, but that's a ways off and who knows how he'll play.
  3. Yes it is, it is entirely meaningless. Actually, yes exactly the same chance. Hull and Spurs both exactly the same opportunity to be able to win the league. One is more likely than the other but the chance is the same. Spurs won't win the league, they won't even be close as I stated in my previous prediction. All a side can control is how many points they get, they can't control what the sides around them get. So no, in determining if a side did well or trying to predict how well they'll do in the future, its not meaningless. Also, saying "one is more likely than the other but the chance is the same," makes no sense. If they are more likely than they have a better chance. Probability is how likely something is to happen. They're both very unlikely, but one is way, way more likely to win it than the other. I believe Taratuga was right, you like to be emphatic and exaggerate a lot
  4. It's called breaking from a corner I think he was joking
  5. Okay so I just watched the second penalty on match of the day here in America after reading a really good point fro Lambert about why it actually is a pk and he's right. If you look at it closely, Aghbonlahor was actually the one who got the ball, Koscielny just brushed it, but Agbonlahor got most of his boot to it and that's why the ball went toward the goal line and not the corner. So the referee was actually correct, and it was a penalty. So a deserved result. Even awesomer.
  6. Still don't think they'll win any major honors this year but in time, Moyes will come good. As for Kagawa, he just played a friendly in Japan like three days ago, so maybe Moyes thought that wouldn't be the best way for him to play. He was amazing for Dortmund and he should be amazing for Man U, unless he's another Sahin. (Who by the way seems like he's getting back to be amazing for Dortmund, and even took a paycut to go there) Edit: I can't believe Giggs still plays this much. He really doesn't bring much to the team at this point. He's afraid to shoot and, I don't know I just don't see his purpose on the field. Especially with other options like Rooney and Kagawa available. I also originally thought Giggs made a brilliant assist on the opening goal, but it was a total deflection, he didn't mean to play it that way. Welbeck was good but he also gave the ball away for the Swansea goal. One more thing, what is it with the English constantly badmouthing the good players that you have? You may not be the best footballing country in the world, but a guy like Rooney is legitimately good. He's a fairly complete player and can play a number of roles brilliantly. Welbeck, Jones, Kyle Walker, they're all very good young players who take stick but are really good.
  7. Vlaar will be out of the back four sooner than later. When you have Tony Moon streaking down the middle of the field, who needs a defense?
  8. I saw this guy making a run at the bottom of my screen and I though it might be Luna, but I couldn't believe that. Then I saw Weimann play the through ball, camera went back to the guy and it was like what the **** is he doing up there? Awesome, awesome goal. No clue why he made that run though.
  9. He has to be one of the best in the prem, it bothers me because if you ask people who the best are they list Cech, De gea, Lloris, Joe Hart (who was horrendous last year), and mignolet. Keepers at big clubs are always, always overrated. They concede less because their teams have better defenses,
  10. If not now then they will in two years when Soldado's thirty and Benteke's has outscored him the next two seasons.
  11. Interesting to see Laudrup play with a false nine. Should be a fun game.
  12. I voted for KEA as man of the match because he kept winning the ball back and harassed Arsenal constantly. Delph was the best in the second half but the whole first half he either gave the ball away or went backwards. Only player that was poor I thought was Vlaar, because Weimann was finally came good with his passing at the end.
  13. Remember when everyone was freaking out at 1-1 about the defense? Good times. Arsenal didn't really created much till Villa sat back for ten minutes after the sending off, and then when Weimann started remembering how to pass and the team went forward, a very good finish.
  14. He's gotta have a concussion. That was just an unlucky play, but he climbed up Benteke himself
  15. Weimann was poor for much of the day but sent through two great through balls at the end. Well, the second one was simple but Delph woulda missed it.
  16. Now its positive. Time's still being wasted but chances to kill off the game are being created too. Much better.
  17. See when Villa have the ball you don't need to play really quick but keep it going forward. Going backwards till Guzan has to go long may waste a few seconds but it doens't help that much and see Arsenal hit the post again. With the way the team is set up they should go forward and look for a third goal
  18. Once again though that was Vlaar that gotten beaten by Rosicky. Dreadful play from him today.
  19. I'm doing reffing class and this is so true. I don't think it was a pk but you could argue he didn't get the ball that far away than he hit Gabby and knocked him over preventing him from running onto the ball.
  20. Oh god Vlaar should've been off there. That would've been disastrous
  21. Everytime Villa go forward it's a chance, just need to pick the right ball. Edit: Oh look Wilshere exaggerrating again.
  22. This is terrible refereeing though. Missed many decisions for both sides
