    I don’t think it’s an issue to believe we won’t catch Liverpool who are 8 points ahead of us. Yes they are struggling but it’s Liverpool, they are more than likely going to turn it around and win at least 3 out of 4 games. We just need to concentrate on our job starting with Chelsea. Win the next two and top 4 is sewn up imo.

    Hoping at least Gusto is out as he’s probably their best player apart from Palmer

    They create chances but are so poor in the middle and at the back that you always have a good chance of scoring a few. Key will be taking our chances. Hopefully Palmer is out.

    What Ollie does for this team, not many can replicate. He's a complete player for us. Not sure who else you could get.

    I am not going to get too confident yet as all it takes is one red card or injury to impact the run-in. It’s unbelievable what we have done when the pressure was on. Chelsea look pretty good at the moment so will be a tough one. Even a point would add pressure to Spurs. Hard to know which Spurs side will turn up but I’d much rather have points on the board. I have a feeling 72 is the magic number to get.

    We need McGinn to play in the middle. Their midfield press well and we need his 'robustness' to counter it.

    We could do with Sinisterra and Semenyo being out. Along with Solanke, they are their biggest threat. Kluivert is hot and cold. Lewis Cook and Christie make everything tick. Their defence can be got at. Will be tough no doubt.

    It’s a shame as I was hoping for 5th being enough. It means less pressure and we can concentrate on winning a trophy. You just me never know what will happen so it’s all well and good saying we are favourites for top 4. All it takes is an injury or a red card and your limping over the line again.

    Part of me is confident we will get 4th and the Villa part of me is convinced that we will finish 5th hence why the European campaign for English clubs has gone how it has this season.

    I don’t think Arsenal win tonight so we have to rely on City, ourselves and hope the other two win their ties at the very least.

    If we end up beating Ajax, Lille, Fenerbache and Fiorentina to win it then it’s a proper trophy

    My priority is the UECL. If we can get to position whereby 5th is enough for UCL then it means we can focus our efforts on winning a trophy.

    I think people can both be excited that we beat Arsenal and care about the coefficient outcome. Very little nuance on this thread. This isn’t the Arsenal match day thread so you’re not going to get discussion about that match. More about what it means for our predicted points total.
