    Just watched The Job Lot on Netflix. Set in Birmingham in a job centre. Quite funny and very watchable.

    I won’t be happy till we know 5th gets Champions League. We have it in our own hands both in terms of the league and Europe.

    The only one that would have made a difference yesterday was Bailey imo. Pau great on the ball but against City I think we wouldn’t have seen him at his best. Defensively, Lenglet and Pau are similar quality.

    Yeah Tim did well off the ball and when he had it but he never really made himself available as an option. Which is why Dougie and Kamara work so well together.

    It’s what Pep said himself. Mainly because Liverpool have that game in hand and will win tonight.

    I don’t know. It’s not the same city side and the fans and the players were getting nervous I sense. This was a must win game for them. They have difficult fixtures left and they need to win every single one to stand a chance.

    In a weird way, it might be a good thing we lost to Man City the way we did. Man City will get a bit of confidence back ahead of their game to Real Madrid (which we need them to win). It also keeps them in the title hunt with them playing Spurs towards the end of the season. We don’t want them treating that as a dead rubber.

    Like others I am more nervous/tuned in to the Spurs/Man U games as well as what is happening in the European games. This weekend and the mid-week games feel like a real pivotal point in our season.

    Played well today. Was involved in everything good we did. Shame about the wall.

    Comparisons to Moscow are harsh imo. We had a lots of injuries here. Big difference. It was Man City away with many players missing after a gruelling season with plenty of games left. We are decimated and we need to make sure our 12-14 best players get the best opportunity to get the 11-13 points we need to get Champions League football.

    xG is a bit like GD. Over a whole season it’s a good guide re where you should finish. Nothing more. I was impressed by our back up forward players today. Gives me more hope if anything.

    Not bad at all considering the fixtures. The next 6 are: Man City (a) Brentford (h) Arsenal (a) Bournemouth (h) Chelsea (h) Brighton (a) If we can get any more than 10 points from that then we would have done really well.
