General, I'm not usually one to come on here and moan, but you must admit this is looking rather worrying at the moment. Two of the most influential providers for our strikers have gone. We have no replacements as of yet. I know we need to trust in the board and the manager but sometimes it's a struggle.

I've always liked Shay Given as a Goalkeeper, providing he stays fit he could be amazing for us for a good few seasons yet. If the fee is around the 3.5 mil mark, I believe we've got a bargain.

You say "A waste of the little money we have". We honestly don't know what Randy is willing to spend. No one was expecting us to splash out all that money on Bent, but we did. I'm sure the people at the club are in a better position to see who we need to buy and who will fit in.

For **** sake, just hire Mcleish and let's get on with it. This whole thing is just boring me now, the final straw was seeing the graffiti done by some of our fans outside of bodymoore, If you supposedly love Aston Villa vandalising club property is not a way to show it. Mcleish wouldn't have even been my 300th choice for Aston Villa Manager, but the more this drags on the more likely it's looking. I will give him a chance to win me over though, He is a human being and from what I know he has never spoken negatively of us and regardless of his CV he still deserves a chance and he has balls the size of Boulders!!!!! If he takes this job he is a brave man.

I've supported the Villa my whole life. I've seen managers come and go, I've seen good times, I've seen bad times. If Mcleish is appointed, I will support him as Aston Villa boss, because my dislike for him cannot overshadow my love for this football club. I'm just going to sit back and see what happens.
