Good Evening General, or afternoon depending on which country your in. As we know some staff of AVFC read your thread to help you keep on top of fans concerns. My question is does Mr. Learner read your thread ever? If not how often would you speak to him? When your thread has an influx of comments concerning one issue would he have a look for himself or would you communicate the concerns of the fans. Basically will Mr. Learner know the a large percentage of fans would have been very upset at the team selection and almost a throwing in of the towel at the game yesterday and would there be a meeting with the manager to get his thoughts on the subject via scheduled meetings or necessary meetings. Good Day General, Hope you are well. We regard to the kit and the delay, as we know you have a contract to put out a new shirt every year with Nike. We do not however has a contract that says the kit will not be released until November. So now that Nike has broken part of the contract there is a legal case that we should not have to release another kit next year (I am sure we are looking into this - may you comment?) If this was to happen I believe that we will take in a lot more money in kit sales over the next year and a half we would with this year and next years kits being released as it stands now. Hi General, Great job on the new manager and how it was handled, makes me proud to be a avfc supporter. He seems really into the job and chomping at the bit to get in there. HI General, I must say I was a little worried about you being gone so long. I do hope your health is well. I don’t like to come on looking for something or giving out about something but I must say I was on the online shop and I had my jersey in the basket and was ready to check out but when I put on name etc and the price was climbing I started to think that this jersey may be out of date in a 7 months and I halted my buy. Then I got an email letting me know about the free name & number printing and I was in again only to find out that it was in store only so buying was out again. After reading your comments I was wondering if you would make this deal available to the online shopper, as I would be back in then but for now and especially since I guess it’s pretty much confirmed that we will have another new shirt next year I would have to bow out of a new jersey. Also may I ask is it part of the Nike deal that we will have a new shirt every year that they sponsor our club? Thanks

"Good Day Gentlemen, I have been listening to your podcasts twice a week for the past two months, it’s been mostly enjoyable. But one thing has really bothered me, your inability to mention Aston Villa and their progress, which has been quite astounding considering the wage bill of players and the resources that the managers of the teams that are placed around them. I thought you were finally going to have a chat about Villa last podcast when calling out the fixtures you stopped at Villa because there was one of the panel who had “very strong feelings about this one” only to find out he was upset about Blackburn’s home attendance!!!! I mean, come on! Before Villa won AGAIN today this email was going to ask if the reason you guys don’t mention Villa was because you don’t think Villa will keep it up, like that so called pundit Laurenson (will look forward to him eating his words). But I don’t think there is any question now that Villa can and WILL keep it up. Very solid at the back - in fact the only fault Villa have is they don’t put away a lot of the chances they create, we should be winning games by 2 or 3 goals. I don’t believe their squad is too small either, with injured players returning and even without the rock Laursen at the back they are still keeping clean sheets and winning. I think I would rather 16 players that I have full confidence in putting on or starting than having 30 odd players who are average on the books. Sunderland have 35 players on the wage bill!!!!!! Plus 5 out on loan. Martin O’ Neill is prepared to wait for the right players who will fit into his plans. So this can’t be the reason you are not talking about them. But maybe now after Villa have broke Big Sam’s unbeaten record, have gone above Chelsea, won 7 away in a row, are 8 points clear of Arsenal and have 6 players in the England squad, (Curtis Davis can count himself unlucky not to be in the squad) Maybe now you will find the time in your podcast to have a little chat about Aston Villa.. Team looked solid all round, as we knew they were- I think it was just a matter of them believing in themselves, and I think tonight they did. Hi General, I just want to comment on the people who are saying sorry for the negative posts and that’s not how we all feel and you are here on your own time and are just a fan too. Now of course I do believe you are a fan too but I also believe that you are here to act as a go between for Randy and the fans. Therefore I think it is very important that the fans post their concerns here, as you can probably tell it is starting to come to a head, with five pages of posts in the last eight hours. All points are valid from ‘why don’t we have a right back for the last two years’ to ‘why don’t we have any players to cover at all’ (except goalies). By the way, I am very happy with the two new goalies - great idea for the older American to break in the young one and take him under his wing and help him adjust to life in England and become a better player. Then we are sorted for next 10 years. I have to agree with most of the posts, I am getting worried now too and here’s why: looking at MON after the game today when asked about Barry, he looked like a man defeated. Not a man who was close to signing 5 or 6 international standard players (which is what I think is needed). He looked like a man that is running out of time and options. Now I hope I am wrong but that’s the reason I am a bit worried. I don’t think that we will be short players, but that we will have a squad of very nice lads - but not champions league quality. Now, as I said, I know you are a fan too and you would not like to see this happen either. Also what has been bothering me (while I’m here ) It came out that we bid for Bentley 10 million and it was not accepted, so that was that???? General, Just another quick thanks for you and your staff for letting me into Villa Park and making my Christmas come in July. I was telling some of my Liverpool "friends" the story how I was allowed in to the park and the look of awe in the faces was classic as to on other fans faces; they knew they would not get that kind of help and support if they wanted to get into Anfield. So thanks again and maybe next summer if tours are not available I could get in contact with Duncan in time!!! Thanks again.
