  1. Can't agree with this. Haven't seen a decent replay of their second goal, but the commentators seem pretty convinced. And the first goal was a definite penalty. thats the second part you dont agree with. what about the first Well yeah, I was responding to the latter part of your post. As for the first, I think most of the players are still showing commitment, but their confidence is clearly in pieces and City are totally outplaying us.
  2. Another stupid rash challenge from Warnock to get him booked. He's a **** awful player.

  4. APRIL!!!! too **** late then!! Why is it? Unless you think we're going to get relegated. I don't.
  5. Agree totally. I disagree. This is dreadful and its no one the managers fault Well in my opinion we'd have been exactly the same under MON. This is a transitional season, and Houllier needs time to make his signings. It's just easy to blame Houllier. I'm not supporting him, but it's totally unfair to castigate him like this already.
  6. It may seem like an overreaction, but I genuinely think we need an entirely new defence.
  7. Can't see us getting a win, but hopefully the five man midfield will benefit us and we could snatch a draw. Still, if I were forced to make a prediction, I'd say we'll lose 2-0.
  8. Have you ever been on a bus in this country?
  9. On average, how much older than the rest of the subs is Pires? I bet he feels like a teaching assistant. I'll be the sad one who answers The average age of our bench, excluding Pires, is under 22 years old - 15 years younger than the 'assistant'! The average age including Pires is marginally under 24, so still 13 years younger there.
  10. I'm pretty sure they do. The commentary said it was questionable and 'looked like a dive'. However, in this instance, I complained about it after the match and received a warning from the FA, so maybe it wasn't a dive after all on this occassion!
  11. Ha, as if this isn't enough, let's find out if he's religious!
  12. **** hell, just lost 2-0 in the FA Trophy semi-final first leg against Dover, who are in the Blue Square South! Their first goal was scored by our own dickhead Joe Lolley, who then dived to win a penalty which resulted in their second!
  13. The man talks a lot of sense.
  14. I don't play Pro Evo, but why Keita over Busquets?
  15. Let's write him a nice letter. After all, Barcelona have enough world-class players. They can let Messi go on loan to Wigan (or us, maybe, as fellow relegation candidates?) next season, when they've added Fàbregas
  16. Along those lines, Alan Carr. I can just about stand Graham Norton, but Carr is just bloody annoying. And that silly dancing cock, too. So yeah, I agree. Sexual preference is a personal choice and not something I'd ever judge someone on, or even really have an opinion about. But people who constantly mince in a loud and attention-seeking way do my tree in. It's not funny, or cute, or anything. It's just a deliberate exaggeration of an annoying personality.
  17. Yes, but often teams with poor or badly organised defences. Like I said, Messi has sublime ability to find space - with or without the ball - even when he's being marked tightly, but he wouldn't receive anything like the same quality of passing at Wigan as he does at Barcelona. Neither would he be surrounded by world-class players who make fantastic runs themselves to allow more space for other players. I'd argue that it'd be easier for Messi to lead Argentina to World Cup glory than Wigan into the top four. I do think he'd put Wigan well up there, but I doubt they'd break into that bracket.
