Well half time and I must say I'm suprised we're behind. On balance of play I don't think we should be as we've played pretty well. If we can maintain this level for 90 minutes I think we'll get something out of the game. The reality is though, that we can't and wont. I expect Petrov to gradually drift out of the game now, while Downing and Young will become less effective.

I think it will not be one specific thing, but a few things. I think there wil be a decline in the general population due to disease and infertility and then probably some trashball we've lumped into outer space to get rid of will start and alien war and then we'll probably nuke ourselves anyway.

The BBC website is showing 52% villa possession for the whole game. Tell ITV that. To be fair to them, the 70-30 was for the second half at that time.

Are you serious? Most of 'em didn't show after half time. On 60 minutes the possession was 70-30 in Chelseas favour.

Thanks General, had an inkling that may be the case, but was curious what the official line was. Obviously, your backs were to the wall and the priority has to be to keep the pitch in good condition for the first XI so I don't think anyone can criticise that decision, even though they may not like it. I'm gutted for the players as much as the fans, especially some of the younger lads.

Agreed. £1.20 a litre? Thats about £6 a gallon. Any other nation would be protesting in the streets and raising hell. When I went to the United States last year they were pissed off about paying less than half that.

It's ironic Mr Reality, as I'd got it in my head to vote Lib Dem. But I've seen our local candidate and....no.....just, no. UKIP haven't anounced a candidate yet, so I guess I'm looking at either Tory or a spoiled ballot. I' just not sure I trust Cameron and his cronies.

Hi general, I note with interest that the reserves game where we may very well win the title (Fulham) is now going to be played behind closed doors at Bodymoor Heath rather than at Villa Park. Why is that?

I heard a rumour that we will have 2 sponsors this season. Apparently, wonderbra have shown an interest in having advertising space on the chest area, and like some foreign teams we may also have a sponsor on the back of the shirt, towards the bottom. I've been told it's KY Jelly.
