  1. I'm gutted to see you leave on such negative grounds. Not wishing to make a statement but it sounds like this is more than fantasy football so whatever it is, just look after yourself. If @kkr is able to remove teams then I guess removing yours and the 'intruder' is the best thing for the league.
  2. I'll be honest, I don't see the issue as a problem. I can't see any evidence to suggest it's someone on the dodge and the only offence caused is a lack of interaction. The league has an even number of teams, we all drafted, we can all play the waiver wire, we can all trade with each other and approve league trades... no issue. We can investigate as we go along and in three months time we can move on. @kkr is not at fault, he has a life and runs this thing at our behest more than anything. @Brumerican have you ever considered taking the commish role on?
  3. Thanks dude. Can I have my priority reset and awarded Malcolm Brown too?
  4. Possibly, but he does have game breaking seperation that is useful in this kind of offence. I don't see him having too long of a future at the Browns though, especially as colleges seem to be churning out WRs at the moment. I agree that they should de-prioritse him, especially in short yardage and underneath routes. That's Landry, Hunt and Hooper territory. Quick throws underneath should be obvious given Bakers lack of pocket ability. Hey ho, Stefanski looks like a bit of a genius that doesn't suffer fools gladly and I have full confidence that he'll fix it in the short and long term.
  5. Firstly, that's a genius thread title so @Brumerican As for the Browns. Very happy to win but am I the only one that is was worried about that passing defence? Sure, Burrow threw more times than most backups throw in a season so the YPA was low but still, those fourth down completions and the fourth quarter comeback was down to shredding the DBs and LBs. The run defence looks stout so teams are just going to turn up and sling it and that means the offence needs to perform consistently to compensate for the defence. The offence was great. It was exactly the kind of football I love to watch and Chubb and Hunt are a special pair. However, the passing game was a bit meh in my opinion, and I remain bemused as to why the TEs are seeing so little of the ball. I can't help but point the finger at Baker because for all his skill and arm, I only see him as a mid level QB - Rivers, Jimmy G, Tannehill. He's prone to too many mistakes, he doesn't see the whole field and I'm starting to worry that he might not be the guy. The question of the 5th year option and subsequent contract renewal is going to be interesting to follow. Then again, this is the Browns and they cant afford to be fussy. Good game, good result, onto week 3.
  6. The reality is that last season we were very predictable up front - wingers, central striker. Now we have more mobile options, with pace, that are interchangeable and can find space on both sides of the defence. More unpredictable, an increased chance of goal scoring opportunities, and increasing the likelihood that defenders will make mistakes - a penalty or two would be nice! Good stuff, now for another one please.
  7. Yeah, it's broken until @kkr is around to fix it.
  8. Understood. Surely the league has more integrity if everyone posts a result, but you have a strong view and it's not for me to convince you otherwise.
  9. I'd second a banishment. There are enough teams for fixtures all round, just make sure he's on a bye each week.
  10. Yep, I had Malcolm Brown as my number 1 claim, think I would have got him under the old system. Does a trade for Benny Snell interest you?
  11. Size on the bloke! Expecting a fair few clean sheets with these dimensions!
  12. Just curious as to your logic on this? The guy (whomever he is) is playing his team, no guarantee of a win for you so why not play?
  13. Mings caught the train after the playoff final. Can't be on more than a couple of hundred quid a week
  14. Yep, it doesn't make sense for the worst team to always get first pick, us lucky players deserve the chance to get richer too. Long live the capitalist economy...
  15. So how come my waiver has gone to 16 just because I was the highest scorer? Having drafted 15th, I was 2nd on the waiver priority heading into the weekend. Last season it was definitely based on draft order first then who had and who hadn't claimed. I'd like my 2nd place in the waiver priority back please
  16. QB1, WR1, RB1, TE1, nice start but waiting for the bubble to burst
  17. Browns continue to leave stains on my eyes. Lacklustre
  18. I would say Landry but I fancy his chances in the Stefanski offence
  19. Ravens Flock drafting 4 Kickers and no QB... I think we're safe fellas
  20. How many deer based puns did last year's thread have though?
  21. 2 hours to actually do some research and set my draft board. Been so lacklustre this year!
  22. @TS @NoelVilla Are the only other people in this thread. Are either of you Ravens Flock?
  23. Auto pick will use half the allotted time, up to 15 seconds generally so all good.
  24. Sounds good to me. Yahoo has a placing next to each returning player which makes it easy to do that.
