I think you're talking sense @Brumerican I was hoping it would be to play everyone once (up to 13 fixtures) and top 4 from each division head to the playoffs just like NFL conferences. Divisions do seem moot if it's all one player pool any way. @kkr has been working hard to keep up with and make the changes though so we would be best to finalise what we want as a league so as not to burden him much more. The bench reduction seems sensible, as does the flex role. RB scoring was better aligned to WR last year so I think we could probably proceed as it's unlikely a single team will have CMC and another top RB. I'm voting for the ability to play each team once (up to 13 games), whether that be two divisions or one league of 16.

Out of curiosity, how would the 17 week format be decided in 16 weeks if week 17 were dropped? 13 league games?

Personally I'd go with option 1 as closer to the real thing?

@kkr - really think we should set the RB to 1 else there won't be enough to go round as soon as someone has 2 starters and 2+ stashed. 1 starter should cap RBs per team to 3 and even then we'd be in need of 48 RBs for 16 teams. 2 WRs, 1 TE and W/T flex looks good though.

I don't think it is. We all play each other at least once. Divisions look like conferences rather than promotion / relegation. Awaiting confirmation as per my question above. This method should allow more chances to make the playoffs so more variety. Just pool of players gets smaller with more teams.

@kkr Can you confirm that the divisions are conferences and not that one division sits below the other? What format was agreed for the playoffs? Top 4 teams in each division face off against each other then a 'superbowl'?

Well & truly on the fence. So long as we have the ability to interact as two leagues and people are willing to handle the admin of coordinating two leagues then that option. However... I would miss not all being in the same league and the idea of possible playoff randomness intrigues me, so this makes the two divisions an option too. Arrgh!

So.... We still only have access to unique players i.e. a team from each division cannot both draft the same player? Spreading the wealth was meant to be the purpose of divisions I thought but if it can't be done then yes, reducing roster size is a must. Single RB, not sure including RB in flex would be good for fairness so I'd encourage only W/T there. Personally I like the idea that division rankings would lead to playoffs regardless of overall position, just like conferences in the real NFL

Whilst his speed differentials will be different against Premier League defenders, I do like how decisive he looks. Many of his goals were first time shots, barely any hesitation. This is what we need in front of goal, less dilly-dallying.
