  1. they haven't got a clue, nobody has This.. Thing is a number of very large bets have just been put on Benitez. Either someone has given out some duff ITK stuff or someone genuinely knows that's something's in the pipeline.
  2. Yeah, he's favourite with a lot of bookies now. Somewhere in Merseyside a taxi's just crashed into a tree.
  3. What source is this? Whisky I reckon, could be vodka though.
  4. games, lets see how many games he has won and his win ratio then lets compair it to others Fulham 43 14 16 13 win ratio = 1 win in 3 or 1.3 points per game Man City 77 36 16 25 win ratio = 1 win in 2.1 or 1.6 points per game Blackburn 188 82 47 59 win ratio = 1 win in 2.3 or 1.56 points per game so the BEST he has done was after spending £230 million pounds on players and he manages 1.6 points per game houllier for villa in a terrible season league and cup played 39 won 14 drew 11 lost 14 win ratio = 1 win in 2.8 or 1.36 points per game BETTER than hughes at fulham so houliers first season which had all sorts of disruptions from the very start was more successful than hughes at fulham. Oooops. Did Hughes spend 28 Million in the January Window? No didn't think he did and yet they still finished higher than us. Ooooops back to you. shit? who spent 28 million in january? chelsea? liverpool? i know villa didnt, so who are you talking of? can i also check to see if teams get deducted points under the " its not fair, you have more money than me" rule? ahh, they dont. or should we go on the actual outlay from each club? that season we spent 3 million pounds we got £26 million for milner and £3 million for davies we paid £18 million for bent £8 million on ireland ( still makes me sick) £6 million on makoun leaving a total spend of £3 million and im sure we sold sidwell for 1 million or so and shorey i thought we sold for £2 million? but not including them we paid out £3 million over what we made on transfers. a quick look at fulham and they have spent more than we did and as mentioned houlier achieved a higher points per game and better win ratio in his time at our club than hughes oh dear Trying to compare points per game and then including cup games is deliberately trying to distort the figures in my book, as is including games when Houllier was hospitalized. In the league we had an average of 1.23 points per game under Houllier by my reckoning.
  5. Presumably because people have read Kendrick's article and have started backing Ancelotti.
  6. Unless they have a leak from Fulham end, then I'd still trust Kendrick over the Mirror anyday... he's usually spot on. I wouldn't be too disappointed with Hughes though as I've posted before he apparently was one of Lerner's top targets when MON left. If he could get Warnock and Ireland playing the way they did when he was managing Blackburn and Man City, then that could only be good for the club. Although I understand your point about Kendrick and his sources, it's worth pointing out that the Mail is owned by Trinity Mirror :winkold:
  7. Sean Ingle said a few weeks ago that Steve McClaren had made it known that he wanted the job. I pray to God we don't go for him.
  8. Haha love how people were suggesting his username stood for Tilton Road Stand- block T and it's just his initials. Can we stop accusing people of being SHA fans, makes the place no better than bluemoon.
  9. Phil Neville, deffo :winkold:
  10. It was you using them most of the time!!
  11. They are indeed working on the single player, with Raven Software being somehow involved with the multiplayer. Makes you wonder what exactly the input Infinity Ward have on the game.
  12. I'll admit it, I'm starting to get excited.

Anyone see the tweets between Darren Bent and Ribena? Very amusing, clearly a legitimate energy drink!
  14. [pedant]Qatar is a separate country to the UAE [/pedant]
  15. Apparently Levy is keen on it and if they really didn't want to play in it you would have thought they would have thrown in the towel against Liverpool at the weekend.
  16. with united having only dropped 2 points at home theres no way theyre going to throw that game. any team fergie puts out should beat blackpool comfortably, and will sure their reserve team murdered shalke ffs You're right that would never happen.
  17. I can see them both winning. Stoke have a load of injuries and nothing to play for and Blackpool will be playing Man Utd reserves, with their first team rested for the CL final.
  18. Bendtner is exactly the sort of player to score against us
  19. Clearly GMac has now begun to assert his influence on the team, hence the free flowing football
  20. That's the years of alcohol and drug abuse for you. He also thinks that Cole, Enrique and Baines are the best 3 LBs in world football so I wouldn't read too much into what he says!
