Has been very solid for us but I'd still have Mings in the team any day of the week, and that's effectively who he's filling in for here.

In his favour is he is very good on the ball and decent in the air - probably better in the air than both Torres and Lenglet. His main problem is he's just a bit on the slow side. He did a pretty good job overall.

My favourite bits are where he's so tricky he even wrong foots himself and slips, but then recovers his footing and does something ridiculous and you're left wondering whether the slipping was actually an intentional part of the manoeuvre.

He's still having the odd off game but for me I think I agree he's starting to understand what Emery wants from him and the importance of his versatility. Even when he's having a quiet game he's still capable of producing a moment of skill that unlocks something for us.

He's absolutely the man the team looks to when we're under the pump. He's the guy you need to hold on to the ball and work it forward. If he's doing that I'm always confident we're going to be okay. I have to admit I'm not really a fan of him taking corners though. None of the balls he puts in ever look particularly threatening.

I thought Chambers did a pretty good job on the circumstances. McGinn was my man of the match but just by a smidge, because he kept driving us even when we were under the pump. Tielemans and Bailey could have been just as easily too. Bailey is just unplayable at the moment. Ramsey is on the cusp of being back to his best but his end product is not quite there yet. And worth noting that Gibbs-White is one of the few players in the league who seems to have figured out that if you want to beat Martinez one on one you've got to lift the ball over him.

Absolutely pathetic the way Zouma goes down and stays down after a light tap to the face with a live opportunity for his team to score and he's just lying in front of the goal like a big cat-kicking numpty getting in the way, simply to make a point to the ref.
