I was planning on being in Swindon that weekend and getting an easy train in but engineering works all that weekend mean no trains from Swindon. Anyone else doing this journey and worked out an alternative?

Salzburg, I've been before so not too fussed, but other half is keen to go. Eagle's Nest is a good shout though. Ljubljana seems to get a lot of hype. Not worth it then? Is definitely the biggest stretch on our provisional route, but had heard good things and figured the drive north would be good. Anywhere else you'd recommend between Budapest and Munich? Vienna? Graz?

When are you going? Can't be much help, sorry, as been to none of them, but I'm looking to do a road trip to half those places (the Prague to Dresden bit) and a few others further south (Budapest, Ljubljana, Salzburg, Munich) in September, so will have to keep an eye on this.

Shame. I'm getting on ok with it and have similar record to you. 16 teams put a lot of emphasis on getting draft right. If you missed some or all of it and didn't have a watchlist set then it's gonna be harder. Think you missed the start which may have led to your early picks being what they are. Only one of your first 5 picks was a forward. And there were 4 strikers picked after your last one that have so far individually outscored all 3 of your picks combined. Don't really think it was a rotation issue. As for available free agents/waivers, plenty of decent ones have come and gone. I think five of my best XI were signed post draft. And there are still plenty available, loads of decent defenders flying around. Even upfront there are a few picking up ok points.

Three, also waivers. Went for both Carroll and Gross. Couldn't decide on waiver order. Went Gross first in the end. Got him, but missed out on Carroll. If had gone Carroll first would've got both by looks of it. Dammit.

Think you might have been the only person that went for him. I didn't think he'd be back for ages yet. Most other people seemed to be after Aurier as first waiver.

Quite a few waivers this morning then... I'm gonna lose to @LancsVillan this week by whatever Brady does, after drafting him, dropping him then trying to resign him this week and Lancs getting there first. Doh!

There is the option to set a pick list beforehand (which is worthwhile doing anyway whether you can make the draft or not) and if you can't attend then that list is use to make your picks for you.

Neither have I, but doubt the basics are much different to the other league. Link here to rules, points scoring, etc. Base scoring looks the same, bonus points have some very slight variations, and I have included the "Kante rule" points which are new. Main differences I can see are we have trades in this one and I've selected a different waiver rule and a playoff finish to the league.
