This is one of my favourite efforts...

Someone mentioned to me the other day that you can get filters to allow you to take photos in daylight, and still use slower exposures for running water and the like. She said you can just hold them in front of a compact and it still does the same job. Could any of the more photographical types elaborate on this a bit? What filters would I need to do this and could I do it with my Canon Ixus 50?

I've tried to set up one of these PhotoBlog jobbies over here if anyone's interested. Not much there but hopefully it'll start to fill up a bit. It's in my sig too if this gets lost.

Mine went a bit belly-up a while back so I've replaced it. It's a bit empty at the moment but it'll get going soon enough...

That's the problem with things like this. It's a good way of anonymously finding out the general spread of something quite personal, until someone sees something non-straight and goes nuts...

Having played Pro Evo and Virtua Tennis on the PSP I can't see any reason to buy a DS! And the PSP screen is extrordinary...

I've also played both. There is no chance in hell I'd buy the DS over the PSP.

Goodness me, this has got a bit out of control. The idea behind this poll isn't for people to get bitchy about it, that's why I pointed out that if you didn't want to reveal how you voted, you don't have to. Nor is this a way of pointing out to people that they were 'wrong' when DOL does something good (like winning a Cup), or conversely leaves the club for some reason.
